Best Products of the Week | Vol. 295
Hope your weekend is starting off on the right note! Every Saturday, I like to share the top 10 products from the last week of reviews. It’s a nice way to highlight what reviews have been published recently. Similarly, I love reading–and I know others enjoy sharing!–their own “week in review” when it comes to what makeup/beauty products they may have used and/or enjoyed.
What was your week in review like? Copy and paste the lil’ survey below and share your answers in the comments 🙂

Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool
Look you loved this week?: because I’m teaching phys ed til the end of June AND it’s turned really HOT really fast and masks are still required at school, even out on the track, most of my “looks”, such as they are, are quite light. I’ve actually been enjoying using shadows I otherwise don’t bother with – colours like LORAC Nectar, UD Still Shot – warmer tones that I don’t like all that much – for a softly sculpted crease with something skin toned but bright on my lids. Simple smudged pencil liner and concealer set with powder against the heat and humidity.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Stila Starlight powder shadow (I wish they’d never discontinued their singles)
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I was stinting on my Lise Watier Sunsmart facial sunscreen because I was getting near the end and haven’t been in the mood to go and get more but I found I had a new, unopened tube in my “backups” drawer. I also want to use my Tarteist Pro Remix palette. I’m not sure that the shimmery shades will work well with the hot, steamy weather but I might come home one day (I only work til noon), shower and wash my face and start all over again with that palette, or maybe some of the Tarte and Marc Jacobs singles I have – they all deserve to be used more.
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Look you loved this week?: I did an INTENSELY purple look using some Menagerie Cosmetics singles, and a pinky-peach look using PMGL quads and a Terra Moons single and loved them both so much. Here are links if you want to check them https://www.instagram.com/p/CPBD3ecpM4c/?utm_medium=copy_link

Any new or old favorites discovered?: I think Terra Moons shimmers have become some of my favorites. So many interesting shades and they go on so smooth. Lots of different textures. The mattes I’ve tried have been really beautiful as well.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’m still waiting on my Kaleidos Flower Punk palette, so hopefully that if it comes in. I also got a few more Terra Moons singles in the mail this week, so definitely those.
Look you loved this week?: I finally got a chance to wear one of my Clionadh singles out in the world at work. It was just “Patina” all over the eyes, and while it looked beautiful, unfortunately it didn’t last my entire shift on my hooded right eye (my left eye is a monolid, my right eye is hooded)
Any new or old favorites discovered?: The gray-beige shade in Maybelline City Mini “Concrete Runway” is a great barely-there single shade for my skin tone
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’m thinking of pulling out the Too Faced Sparkling Pineapple Tutti Fruitti palette
