Best Products of the Week | Vol. 288
Hope your weekend is starting off on the right note! Every Saturday, I like to share the top 10 products from the last week of reviews. It’s a nice way to highlight what reviews have been published recently. Similarly, I love reading–and I know others enjoy sharing!–their own “week in review” when it comes to what makeup/beauty products they may have used and/or enjoyed.
What was your week in review like? Copy and paste the lil’ survey below and share your answers in the comments 🙂

Your skin tone/coloring: light, MAC NC 20
Look you loved this week?: I’ve been trying to use up a green eyeliner from a Cargo set I got a year or so ago. I’ve enjoyed wearing it with my Victoria Beckham Eye Brick in Silk!
Any new or old favorites discovered?:
Kiko Milano Eyeshadow Stick in Multicolor Mauve. I’ve also pulled out Clinique Melon Pop and Bobbi Brown Nude Pink blushes to combine for a fresh Spring blush look! I’m also trying to pan a sheer Clinique lipstick in Blushing Coral!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’ve pulled out my Melt Gemini palette to get more use!
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Look you loved this week?: I played a lot with my Alien Cosmetics Serendipity palette and made a green look that I really liked… that is such a unique palette. I also did a pretty look with the Oden’s Eye Norns palette! Here are the links if you want to see!

Any new or old favorites discovered?: I pulled out my Coloured Raine Safari Raine palette… I forgot how good that palette is. I’m so sad it was discontinued.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Some pastels, my Oden’s Eye Urd palette and ND Circo Loco palette.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Look you loved this week?: I haven’t been doing many fancy looks this week due to all the moving and packing and everything else. But I did do a lovely eye look using Pixi Beauty Reflex Light palette – the Nude Gold on the whole lid, with Chestnut Glimmer on the mobile lid and Auburn Blaze as the pop of colour when we went out for dinner last Friday night. I paired it with CP’s Gallop lipstick.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Pixi Beauty Reflex Light – as long as you use a dampened brush with a couple of shades to reduce a bit of fallout, the palette is easy to use.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I have no idea…..
Your skin tone/coloring: light
Look you loved this week?: I like the eye look I’m wearing now! Sydney Grace Concrete Road, Terra Moons Lunar Haze, Pretties for Your Face Asteroid, Pretties for Your Face Flare. Unfortunately my skin is all broken out today 🙁
Any new or old favorites discovered?: My new Pretties for Your Face singles (5 of them) and my new Terra Moons Neon Set (4 of them).
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’m hoping to wear Devinah Chromosphere.
Look you loved this week?: I played with my Morphe 35I Icy Fantasy Artistry Palette and topped the look off with some of Colourpop’s SSS in “Let Me Pass” and used Fenty Frosted Metal Eye + Lip Crayon in “Sunfrost” as eyeliner
Any new or old favorites discovered?: I’ve been using my Clionadh single shadows so much lately, it’s been hard to put them down
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’m planning to pull out my Colourpop Animal Crossing palettes soon
Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool
Look you loved this week?: I’ve been using the Nars/Charlotte Gainsbourg Old Church Street duo a LOT in the past week or two. I love the look I get using just those 2 shadows. The deep teal/green seems to look black, green or dark grey depending on how much I apply and how much I blend it, making it surprisingly versatile and a joy to use. I slap on some dark brown or even ugly green (MAC Water Willow) liner and I’m good to go.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: ABH Gleam (I’d forgot about it entirely), Truffle Glitter and Chocolate Titanium
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Probably those 3 ABH shadows I just mentioned. Also Urban Decay’s The Night King liner from the Game of Thrones release. I’ve not used it in ages and it’s so lovely that I should be using it more.
