Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.

Look you loved this week?: I did a really pretty mustardy/orangey halo eye with the Oden’s Eye Solmåne palette. Paired it with Nabla Skin Glazing Blush in Independence and L’Oréal Age Perfect Luminous Lipstick in Bright Mocha. Here’s the link to the look, if you’re interested! https://www.instagram.com/p/CErN_UEBC-t/?igshid=1ujj377u30k1j

Any new or old favorites discovered?: The more I use the Oden’s Eye Solmåne palette, the more I love it. Also the Nabla Skin Glazing Blush is just gorgeous. I used it pretty much every day last week.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week? My new Menagerie singles came in, so definitely those!

Your skin tone/coloring: light, cool
Look you loved this week?: I used MAC Sweet Satisfaction and Center Stage on my eyes, with Sephora Cappuccino liner, Becca Foxglove blush, MAC Craving on my lips and it was a day where my skin looked especially nice.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: MAC Centre Stage eyeshadow from the Peacocky collection – does anyone else remember it? The most lovely and rich brown.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Probably that Nars Voyageur palette.

It’s been my most used lipstick for more than 20 years, I think. I love the finish and how it feels as well as how it looks. Glad to read that you love it too! I recently (pre Covid) got Full Fuchsia as a B2M choice and I really like it too – it’s very brightening ( think I’ve used it the most this summer, not that many people actually get to SEE it). I think those are my 2 all time favourite MAC lipsticks.

Full Fuchsia is a lovely one, I’m not sure if I have it, I think I do, but it can have been one of the old ones that had to go. If I don’t have it, it’s on my in-head list for the next order. 🙂
I think it was you who spoke very highly about Craving some time ago, you did not exaggerate, it is that good!
I so like finding lipstick sisters. 🙂

Skin tone: Under my name.

Look I love: I actually have not put makeup on even once this week, gasp!! I slapped some sunscreen on and called it good. I even went to Missoula yesterday without makeup on, which I would never have done before the pandemic. I just kept a good dollop of my Nuxe Lip Balm on my lips and I was fine with that. Kind of like a complete turn around for me.

No new or old favorites except my ongoing love for my Nuxe. I am still using the Australian Gold 50 sunscreen and while I don’t love it under makeup, when not wearing makeup, I like it. It is a little drying and by the end of the day I really need to moisturize well but it actually evens my skin tone a little and I don’t know how it does that because I don’t use the tinted version. Once it dries down it is really hard to get off and two days ago I walked around with a glob in the nasal folds and I tried to rub it away, with no success. I tried a wet wipe and also nothing. Took my oil based makeup remover to break it down and remove.
Products to use next week: Well, anything would be more than I currently am using. I am thinking about going to Spokane to look at some Chanel products so that would be something to look forward to. I have purchased so little makeup lately that I feel like treating myself. I am quickly facing the onslaught of winter where traveling will be more difficult so I want to get a lot of Christmas shopping done early.

Your skin tone/coloring: above, dark brown hair, dark brown eyes

Look you loved this week?: I’ve only been doing eye looks because I have to wear a mask most days. I did a green/yellow look with Menagerie Feral using Night Eyes, Ivy, Alpha, and Huechera.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: I haven’t used my Menagerie Feral palette in a while so I put it in my basket to use last week. I still love it even though it is pretty messy.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I picked up ND Glam (looked like cool tones, had to) so I put that, Sydney Grace Mountain Trail, and Dominique Cosmetics Berries & Cream in my rotation basket for this coming week.

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Look you loved this week?: It’s not any one particular look – but I have been trying to use my Naked 1 palette for a couple of days, using different shades. I do like Sin all over, with Buck in the crease, Half Baked on the lower lid with a bit of Smog. I have just varied the 3-4 shades I use. Paired with my favourite Milani lipstick Cinnamon Spice.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: Yep – Naked 1 and Cinnamon Spice. The golden oldies.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I might try doing the above with Vice 2 to give it some love.

Your skin tone/coloring: Pale, dark hair, blue eyes

Look you loved this week?: I did a fun orange and lime look with Juvia’s The Tribe palette paired with bright orange lipstick, and I was feeling myself.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: Fenty Girl Next Door highlighter

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Once again, I will be happy just to use makeup! Definitely want to play with The Tribe some more, and Juvia’s The Nomad as well. I think that in spite of the hype they get from some corners of the beauty world, they’re still fairly underrated. Their new taupe mini palette has me drooling.

Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.

Look you loved this week?: This looks was so easy and pretty, I wore it three times this week. EYES — TFSI. Notoriously Morbid loose e/s in Satan in Heels (lightly shimmery purple) all over the lid and crease; left bare under the brow. Espionage Cosmetics loose pigment in Clairvoyant (bright coral shimmer) on the lower lid. UD Perversion Mascara. BROWS — MUG e/s in Bitten. LIPS — Hard Candy Plumping Serum Gel Lipstick in Beloved. CHEEKS — True + Luscious Blush in Royal Flush topped with Medusa’s Makeup Mineral Blush in Sex on the Peach. FACE — Wet n Wild Photo Focus Primer in In Love With Coconut; Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation in Fair; Juvia’s Place I Am Magic Loose Setting Powder in White Sands; Sephora Colorful Contour in Tranquil; True + Luscious Highlighter in Pots of Gold; e.l.f. Original Mist & Set.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: Medusa’s Makeup Mineral Blush in Sex on the Peach. I bought it a couple sales ago, but hadn’t used it till this week. It’s a super-luminous pinky coral. It’s pretty on it’s own, but the base coral shade doesn’t come through as much as I’d prefer — I think the luminous finish makes it appear lighter than it actually is . Used a topper, though, over a matte coral or bright pink blush, and it’s next level.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week? The new Juvia’s Place mini palettes

Your skin tone/coloring: Light, neutral maybe a bit warmish, grey/green eyes, dark brown hair.

Look you loved this week?: Not even one I tried to do was to my liking. I felt uninspired and boring.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: UD Naked (1) palette. I try to use all my palettes in turn, so I pick one I’ve not used for a long time to try it out again.
New favourite, Haus eyeliner in Whiskey, a prefect brown eyeliner, something I’ve been looking for for a long time, I finally found one I like that is also easy to use and stays on.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I have a few MAC products waiting at the post office, some of the newish Powder Kiss eye shadows and finally, after all these years, Velvet Teddy! 🙂
I would love to get Dior Plum Tulle, but it’ll have to wait a bit

Your skin tone/coloring: light, MAC NC 15 to 20

Look you loved this week?: Ya know I pulled out Too Faced Sweet Peach and combined it with ND Tropics palette. Put Luscious on the lid. Put Pastel Melon in the crease/transition. Couldn’t stop looking at my eyes and I was reminded by how lovely Luscious is!

Any new or old favorites discovered?: Too Faced Sweet Peach. I know Too Faced, remember when they were a thing? Lol

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’ll probably stick with something simple like my MAC Quad of Vex, Coquette, Shroom and Omega or just pull out the ND Tropics to use the top half of the palette!

Kimberly Avatar

Look you loved this week?: I’ve been falling back on simple eyeliner-only looks with a shade that matches my skin tone under it to set my base and prevent my eyeliner from transferring. For this particular look I used the light beige shade from elf’s four-pan eyeshadow palette “Carnival Candy”, the Marc Jacobs Highliner in “Blacquer 42”. For the face I used the original Benefit Hoola, Colourpop SSB in “Simply Sweet”, and Tarte Highlighter in “Extra Credit”. For lips I used Bite Lip Crayon in “Glacé” and topped it with Too Faced Lip Injection

Any new or old favorites discovered?: I never have more than one eyeliner open at once, but sometimes I’m tempted to always have a black Marc Jacobs Highliner open just because it’s so reliable. I bought the one I have around Christmas after trying a few duds and I’m so glad I did

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I didn’t end up trying the stuff from the Colourpop Mulan collection so that’s been pushed to this week

Your skin tone/coloring: Light
Look you loved this week?: I only did two looks this week so I guess it would be the fairly neutral one I did using a Natasha Denona 5 pan with Fenty’s Chili Mango stick for blush.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Fenty’s Chili Mango lol
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Just anything. I’ll be happy if I use anything!
