Becca Crimson & Sweetener Ultimate Lipstick Love Reviews & Swatches
Crimson
Becca Crimson Ultimate Lipstick Love ($24.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a vivid, deep orange-red with moderate, warm undertones and a cream finish. It had rich pigmentation in a single stroke, which adhered evenly to bare lips without emphasizing my lip texture or lip lines.
The texture felt lightly creamy with enough slip to glide on comfortably but not feel like it was moving around while worn. It stayed on well for six hours and felt lightly hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$24.00/0.12 oz. - $200.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have an "ultra-creamy" texture with "eight-hour wear" and "pure color in one swipe." They're real bold with the "eight-hour wear" claim when it is a softer, creamier formula that's very comfortable to apply and to wear... and definitely not the longest-wearing formula I've come across--which is likely not a deal-breaker for those who aren't looking for long-wear.
The wear averaged between four and six hours with some of the deeper, richer shades (like a red or berry) lasting six hours or longer. They wore down evenly and were lightly to moderately hydrating while worn. The pigmentation was nearly opaque to opaque for most shades, and the majority of shades applied evenly and sat well on my lips without emphasizing my natural lip texture or settling into my lip lines.
They had a sweet, vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

Sweetener
Becca Sweetener Ultimate Lipstick Love ($24.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a vivid, medium-dark fuchsia pink with subtle, cool undertones and a luminous finish with the barest hint of pearl. The lipstick had nearly opaque pigmentation with nearly opaque coverage that applied fluidly. The consistency felt smooth, lightly creamy without being too slippery or overly emollient, so it was comfortable to apply and to wear but did not slide around or feather while worn.
The color could have applied a touch more evenly, though from afar, it wasn’t noticeable. It lasted nicely for six hours, left a bright stain behind, and felt moisturizing while worn.

Crimson is exactly my sort of color! Probably don’t actually *need* it having shades such as, MAC Lady Danger or YSL Scout’s Red, though.
Sweetener is the type of fuchsia that I wish I could pull off. But it can make me appear greenish. Not how I wish to look!
I love the Crimson shade – although it is not crimson at all, but a stunning, vibrant red.
These are really gorgeous shades, and right up my alley.
