A Summer of Neutrals with Pat McGrath | Bronze Seduction, Divine Rose I & II, Midnight Sun, Celestial Divinity
Here’s another set of summery, warm-toned neutrals using a few popular Pat McGrath palettes!
What kind of colors do you reach for most during the summer? I feel like there’s a lot of warmer neutrals–bronzy, coppery, and gold–and then on the more intense spectrum, brighter pops of color.
About This Series
Each look idea is centered around a “quad” of four shades with the expectation that one might bring in the appropriate brow bone or additional transitional shade based on skin tone. Consider these ideas a jumping off point with four “core” colors that can inspire your next look. For reference, based on how I usually apply makeup, I would consider applying the shades in this order: inner lid, middle of lid, outer lid/crease, and crease/above crease or lid.

Beautiful combinations – I love the 6.0 one the best – with my favourite shades of gold, bronze and olive.
I only have one Pat McGrath palette (a smaller one – 6 pans, maybe?) and that’s how it’s going to stay but these colour combinations are so inspiring and creative and simply look so lush! #2, 6 and 9 look like combos I could wear and can probably dupe reasonably effectively from what I already have.
I really like these color stories, something that I could work into my everyday look.
