ColourPop Sugar Frosted Cheek Palette Review & Swatches
Sugar Frosted
ColourPop Sugar Frosted 4-Pan Cheek Palette ($12.00 for 0.3 oz.) includes one cream highlighter, one shimmery powder blush, and two matte blushes: pale white gold, gold-sparkled light peach, matte peach, and matte, warm brown. They were fairly as-marketed with respect to pigmentation; the blushes were more buildable and hard to over-apply, though they had enough payoff to show up on skin.
I found that the texture of the blushes was very smooth and finely-milled, which didn’t seem to adhere as well to my arm (which is quite dry) but worked well on my face (ultimately, where I test cheek products!).

Jelly Roll
Jelly Roll is a pale, white gold with subtle, warm undertones and a hint of pinkish pearl. It had more opaque coverage applied with a fingertip and sheerer, more buildable coverage applied with a brush, which was marketed. The texture was smooth to the touch, spongy and emollient, but blendable and worked well over bare skin and on top of foundation. It stayed on nicely for 10 hours before fading a bit.

Formula Overview
$10.00/0.15 oz. - $66.67 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "buildable" coverage and can be applied with fingertips (which will yield "higher coverage") or a brush (for sheerer coverage). It's a cream-based product that has a subtle, "wet" feel to it but never has the thickness of a true cream-based blush.
It goes on with the smoothness of a cream formulation but diffuses and blends (without lifting up one's base) more like a powder product. The product sets to a powder finish, so the product won't slide around during the day.
On me, the wear tends to be between eight and 10 hours. Most shades have medium, buildable pigmentation with some being semi-opaque to opaque on occasion. They are typically blendable, easy to use, and long-wearing.

Hey Pudding
Hey Pudding is a very light peach with moderate, warm undertones and fine, gold pearl woven throughout. It had a moderately powdery texture that felt finely-milled and silky otherwise, and it yielded more semi-sheer coverage that could be built up to medium at best. On my skin tone (light plus), it showed up just-barely when built up. It lasted decently for seven and a half hours before fading a bit.

Formula Overview
$12.00/0.28 oz. - $42.86 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to go on "smoothly" and have a "natural and healthy flush" that has "long wear" and "can be layered to your desired intensity." It is a lightly to moderately powdery powder blush with semi-sheer to semi-opaque, buildable color payoff. The consistency has a drier, thinner feel and though it feels silky to the touch, I found it the type of powder blush can be tricky to blend out evenly on the skin, depending on one's skin type or base preferences. The drier the skin/base, the better the formula would blend, but any natural oils or slip caused the blush to go on unevenly and was difficult to blend out. The wear was between seven and eight hours on me on average.

Trifle
Trifle is a light peach with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. The consistency felt fairly powdery to the touch, though certainly finely-milled, and was better applied to my cheeks, where it blended out with ease and didn’t appear dry, than on my arm (which is drier). The product had more semi-sheer coverage that was buildable to medium at best. It wore well for seven hours before fading visibly.

Cookie Crumble
Cookie Crumble is a light-medium, orange-toned brown with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had medium, buildable pigmentation, which was as marketed for the brand’s powder blush formula. It was very smooth and finely-milled, but there was powderiness present that didn’t cooperate as well with very dry skin–like my arm–but worked beautifully on my cheeks (where I test and is more normal-to-dry). The color showed signs of fading after eight hours of wear.

This is a really nice quad, but other than the highlight and that one deepest shade, this one is definitely too light for me. But it is still a beauty!
This one would be for very fair complexions and it has a very suble look and finish about it too. I quite like this quad.
Christine although this palette is completely the opposite end of the spectrum for my skin tone, this is a very nice palette for a fair skin tone that would look so natural best for those no makeup but wearing makeup days!! I can totally see mixing the deepest shade with some of the sheer ones for an awesome shade. Beautiful!!
Yes, it’s definitely something that I could see anyone with very light skin + preferring a subtle effect loving!
