MAC Glamour Era Mineralize Rich Lipstick
MAC Glamour Era Mineralize Rich Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.14 oz.) is described as a “mid-tonal warm brown frost.” It’s a medium-dark brown with warm, peachy undertones and a very slight shimmer. MAC may call it a frost, but it reads as a barely-there frost (especially when compared to their Frost formula). OCC Marion is browner. CoverGirl Delish is a touch lighter. Guerlain Gracieuse is browner, less orange. Bobbi Brown Nectarine is a little bit warmer. Chanel Delicieuse is lighter.
It had opaque color coverage, and it is one of the “heavier” appearing shades compared to the others. The consistency was just a little thicker than the others, which is why I think it looks that way. I would not describe the way it feels on as heavy, though. Â The consistency is somewhat creamy, and generally, comfortable to wear and doesn’t slide around on the lips. You will get lines if you press your lips together with this one, more so than the others. Glamour Era lasted for four hours on my lips, and it was lightly moisturizing while I wore it.

And it’s another lovely shade! 🙂
Finally, one that may look brown on me.
really pretty…too bad about the lines
How does Glamour Era compare to MAC Yash and Cherish? Which one (Posh Tone or Glamour Era) would you recommend for NC 37 skintone with pigmented lips? Thanks!
Darker and warmer, more orange/brown than nude. I’d recommend Posh Tone!
Thanks for replying Christine, posh tone it is!
This is a very lovely My kind of shade! Love it
This is what I’ve been wanting for a while now. No more smudging my other lipstick to a barely there shade!
