Your skin tone/coloring: Below my name
Look you loved this week?: The e.l.f. Bite Size Palette in Hot Jalapeño. I used the bright green shimmer on my lid, the gold in the inner corner, the green matte in my crease, and the dark green in my outer corners. My dailies are Uoma Beauty Afro.Dis.Ia Cleopatra Ink liquid liner and Koh Gen Do black mascara.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: I put aside my Catrice 1 Minute Face Perfector late last fall to try out some new primers but happened to notice it in my makeup drawer last week. It creates a smooth velvety base for powder foundation and the foundation does not need to be sprayed to get rid of the powdery finish.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I am going to try some of the quads that Christine created during the week. The only palette I own among them is BTR but I am sure I can dupe the SG looks with what I have.
Your skin tone/coloring: pale/warm-neutral, dark hair, blue eyes
Look you loved this week?: I had a zoom interview yesterday, and since ALL of my MU brushes are dirty, I did a soft, fingerpainted look with Juvia’s Nomad Palette shimmer shades, Bare Minerals Pink Cloud blush (love love love, this is Holy Grail status), and a pink Essence lipstick called “Naughty” that I got during the lipstick day sale @ Sephora.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Every time I use the Juvia’s palettes, I love them more. I am cautiously optimistic that Wet n Wild’s Stained Glass gloss might become a favorite, but I’ve only worn it once so far. It is a gloss that turns into a stain, but it is non-sticky and very different than what I’ve used in the past.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Any, honestly. L’Oreal Montmartre lipstick is high on the list though.
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes
Look you loved this week?: EYES — TFSI. MAC Bronzer Foiled Shadow in Tide ‘n’ Seek, heavier on the mobile lid and diffused out toward the brows and temples, and on the lower lid. Zoeva The Only Delight on the outer corner of the mobile lid and outer 1/3 of the bottom lid. Wet n Wild ColorIcon e/s single in Panther smudged in a thin line on the outer 1/3 of the top and bottom lids. UD 24/7 eye pencil in Zero (upper waterline), and Fenty Flypencil Eyeliner in Moon Dunez (lower waterline). UD Perversion Mascara. BROWS: ABH e/s single in Love Letter. LIPS: A true/purple mauve liquid lipstick, but the indie brand’s name is not on it. It’s “I’m Full of Secrets” from a Mean Girls Collection. CHEEKS: P/Y/T Beauty Heart Beat Cheek Color in Exhale. FACE: Wet n Wild Photo Focus Primer Water in In Love With Coco; Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation in Fair; Sephora Tranquil (contour); ABH Ethereal from the Dream Glow Kit; e.l.f. Original Mist & Set.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Copacetic Cosmetics Butterfly Kisses Palette. So freaking beautiful, and the shadows are like buttah. Also, Fenty Beauty Flypencils. I only have two, but they stay in my waterlines even better than my Urban Decay ones. I want to get more, including black.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I just got the Alter Ego Artemis Palette, so I want to try that out. (Dupe for ND Metropolis.)
I tightline with the Fenty black flypencil. I will definitely buy another. I was previously using milk boss liner, but it tends to get goopy. I find the Fenty tidier and durable.`
That’s great to know. UD’s formula works wonderfully on my upper waterline, and very well on my lower, but the Fenty ones were even better on my lower waterline. I tried Marc Jacobs because a lot of people say they’re great for the waterlines, but it didn’t last at all on my lower waterline. Like, gone in 15 minutes.
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Look you loved this week?: I worked with a lot of pastels this week and one turned out looking like a pastel oil slick. I really loved it!
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Viseart Dark Edit palette… I’ve only had it for a few days but I love it already! Some of the best mattes and shimmers from the Viseart formula.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: My Oden’s Eye order finally came in! I hope to use both my Solmane and Alva palettes, as well as theBalm Will Powder quad that I purchased.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Look you loved this week?: A colourful eye look in which I used Remix (the bright gold) from the Playlist all over the lid, with Midnight Luminance on the mobile lid, with Mysterious Sky ( from Soft and Smokey) on the lower lid. I paired it with Sephora’s Lipstory lipstick in Hong Kong by Night.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Both of my bareMinerals Ready 8 pan eyeshadow palettes
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: As many as I can use and combine.
?♀️Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral
?♀️Look you loved this week?: Did a simple look with PMG DR 1 and DR2 – velouria all over lid into crease and I smoked it out with a skintoned shadow into high crease, xtreme mahogany on outer v, sextraterrestrial patted on inner third
?♀️Any new or old favorites discovered?: I swatched all my lipsticks on my chest to compare and see how the colour interacts with my skintone. I was swatching all my grieges especially to discern which small colour tweaks made them work better. I am trying to educate my eye as I have largely gone blindly at lipstick.
?♀️Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I am hoping my Sydney Grace purchases from the sale make it here so I can try those. Everything is so slow, sometimes taking a full month or more for delivery, so I need to keep a list of all on-line purchases to tweak my memory ?
Your skin tone/coloring:light, MAC NC 20
Look you loved this week?: I cannot remember a particular look but I’ve been loving pulling out my MAC singles. I’ve worn shale, seedy pearl, sumptuous olive, shroom.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Again, my MAC singles. So many good workhorse colors. Been playing with them and my Natasha Denona palettes. The Tropics and Safari get so much hate but they have been my go to for the last 6 months
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I need to pull out my ABH palettes. They really have been languishing on the vine! Maybe the original Norvina?
