Huda Beauty Flora N.Y.M.P.H. All Over Highlighting Powder Review & Swatches
Flora
Huda Beauty Flora N.Y.M.P.H. All Over Highlighting Powder ($55.00 for 1.05 oz.) is darker, peachy gold with strong, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It has a more gel-powder hybrid formula, so the powder felt firmer, but smooth, without being stiff.
This type of formula works best with moderately dense brushes and may take a bit more pressure than softer formulas; the upside is that there’s no powderiness, which ensures the powder goes on smoothly, evenly, and almost “melts” into the skin as it is blended out. It had good color coverage in a single layer, which could be built up to full coverage. Layering did intensify the sheen, too, which was more of a moderate glow as one layer of product. It wore well for eight and a half hours and started to fade slightly after that.
As marketed, it is a gargantuan highlighter–over an ounce–and most highlighters range between 0.15 oz. and 0.40 oz. (on the larger side!). More for your money is only useful if it’s the type of product you’d actually use up, though; this type of size does ensure that it can be used with the largest of brushes for body highlighting–if that’s something important to you!
The design of the powder really lived up to promos–very dimensional, sharp, and detailed. The denser formula keeps more of the pattern longer than typical, though it does wear away!

Super-pretty but maybe a bit warm for me (or maybe not). And it looks almost too pretty to use!
I know one or two people who wear the same products all the time. (I know, right?). If you only want one HL, this might be it. Itāll last until the apocalypse. Itās pretty spectacular, but not very practical for the overstashed.
It’s too peachy for my skintone, but I love looking at the rose design!
What a day this is turning out to be! I’m loving all the things, LOL.
And this is one more. I’m a sucker for peachy-gold highlighters. This one looks utterly divine!
Super pretty, but I think it would be too dark on me. I think it looks like a sculpture and I’d be too afraid to use it, anyway. lol
Iām wondering how this compares to Laura Geller Gilded Honey
I want to hate it but it is soooo pretty. I wish they would sell it at Sephora not just their website.
I love the design of this! I wish it were smaller and lighter in tone. Maybe sheāll come out with a holiday set that offers minis in other shades. If not, no worries, Iām kinda set for life on highlighters lol
Very beautiful. Love the colour and the design. Plus, it’s so good that it rated well.
I still want that embossing design on a compact.
Okay, I’m a sucker for this kind of highlighters, it reminds me of Chanel’s Camelia, and the quality of the product is there.
So beautiful! Iām a pass for the colour, but the product is stunning!
I’m not usually that enticed by pressed designs and the like, but the promo was stunning and pleased to say it lived up to that in person!
This is beautiful. Luckily it’s far too dark for my skin tone so I’ll be able to save the cash.
