10 Copper Blushes I'd Wear This Summer
Putting together this list of high-quality, copper-themed blushes made it apparent that MAC might reign supreme when it comes to offering options. Copper blush can add warmth to the skin while giving some reddish tinge that is often missing from some bronzing powder ranges (which can often run yellow or golden). Richer coppers have the intensity and depth to show up on deeper skin tones as well.
MAC Margin, Peachtwist, and Sunbasque are classic powder blushes. I know those shades very well; Margin was my go-to blush and one I hit pan on (it was the only one I had for awhile!) with Sunbasque being favored after it.
For those looking for a more forgiving formula to work with, I’d recommend ColourPop Hooked (cream-based) and MAC Superb (denser formula, harder to over-apply). If you love a matte finish, consider Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Intense or Sydney Grace’s Thinking of You.
The most intense and richest shades in this color way are Sydney Grace’s Pure Love (bright, deep, and red-toned) and MAC Faux Sure (deeper, rich, and more balanced between red and orange).

I know MAC has lost a lot of its past popularity, but it’s still my queen. Between the traditional powders, the baked and the Extra Dimension blushes, the range is so huge- no other brand beats it for me.
If a spot opens up in my MAC palette I think Margin would be a great addition for me. I know Mac blushes aren’t anything new or trendy but they’re the ones I’ve never tired of, they last foreevvvvver and don’t get hard pan even after years and years (except for Harmony which I eventually gave up on, so I will not buy a matte finish again but the others are champs).
It’s good to see that MAC can still do a lot of makeup products right and I think these blushes are a standout. The coppery undertones would give a depth to those skintones that don’t suit the blushes with the yellow/gold bases. An excellent collection, thank you Christine.
Five of these made my WL, but oddly, I own none of the above. When I want a coppery cheek, I usually use DoC Miramé with MAC Burnt Pepper. Or I’ll use Smashbox Rosemantic.
I have and like SG Pure Love and NARS Dominate. They seem like fraternal twins-looking very similar at first glance, but with Pure Love leaning slightly more pinky-copper and Dominate leaning more reddish-copper. I still think it’s worth having both, though.
Great comment. I have both as well and those undertone leanings make them unique and definitely worth having. Love them!
I don’t have a lot of copper blushes, and all but one of what I do have came in palettes. I usually find coppers usually run too deep for me. MAC Peachtwist looks promising, though. Usually if I’m going for a copper, it’s Clinique Fig Pop.
