Fenty Beauty Slip Shine Sheer Lipstick ($22.00 for 0.10 oz.) finally launches today, which works out just fine since I’ve now reviewed all the shades in the line-up (there are 10). It’s a new, sheer formula that’s like a lipstick-lip-balm hybrid with moderate creaminess that gave it a more balm-like feel, but it didn’t end up so slippery that it felt like it disappeared in an hour. They weren’t the longest-wearing, but they were comfortable to wear, typically flattering on (despite the sheerness and slip), and hydrating. A few shades were closer tonally than might be ideal, and depending on your natural lip color, they may run together even more on you than they did on me.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I thought I was sold on Tang Thang, but all of the YouTube swatch videos show these being much more pigmented than I was expecting. I think I’ll hold off until swatching in-store is an option.
