Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Skin Tone/Coloring: Skin tone is light neutral, hair is salt-and-pepper, eye color is green with rust-colored flecks near the pupil.

Favorite Look Worn: This eye look drew compliments and a couple of women even asked which palette I used. BROWS—NYX Proof It Waterproof Eyeshadow Primer, Diorshow Browstyler in 004, Clinique Brow Shaper in Charcoaled. EYES—Same primer, Colourpop Zodiac Eyeshadow Palette (Libra as transition, Leo on lids using MAC Mixing Medium to lock it in place, Scorpio in outer crease blended toward center, Sagittarius on outer V), MAC Blanc Type on brow bones (CP Zodiac lacks a good brow bone shade), Marc Jacobs Highliner in In The Buff on inner corners, Chanel Stylo Yeux in Charme to tightline upper lash line, Tarte Lights Camera Lashes mascara. FACE—Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder, Laura Mercier Baked Highlighter 01, Colourpop Super Shock Blush in Birthday Suit. LIPS—MAC Velvet Teddy

Most Used Products: NYX Proof It Waterproof Eyeshadow Primer, Estée Lauder Daywear, Diorshow Brow Styler, Clinique Brow Shaper, Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara, Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder, and Laura Mercier Baked Highlighter 01.

New Beauty Discoveries: Nothing new, but I do have a rediscovery. Velvet Teddy is one of my oldest MAC lipsticks. I tend to ignore it because it seems boring when I have so many newer lipsticks to wear. But when I do wear it every once in a blue moon, I realize what an absolutely pitch-perfect nude it is for me. And then I forget about it again. This is my Velvet Teddy Cycle. But I do love this shade and it’s going to go bad if I don’t use it more often. So this week I decided to wear it at least once a week from now on. And when it finally gets used up, I will buy another one and make myself wear it more often. Because it really is the perfect nude.

Believe it is one of the perms in little Mac, so online MAC, and many others. Ulta is on my mind bec of the new store, which actually caries it…beautifully, I might add. Ulta Mass never had any. Learned lots, seeing MAC in person.

My skin tone/coloring: 6.5 in Armani Silk, Born this Way foundation in Sand. Turquoise eyes, blond hair.

Favorite look I’ve worn: ABH Modern Renaissance palette. Sephora contour eyeliner in Sangria. Never ceases to give me compliments when I wear this palette. . NARS liquid blush in Orgasm, Givenchy Le Rouge in Organza. And, Huda lip strobe in Saucey, but not both at the same time.

Most used product this week: My Bobbie Brown Extra Balm spf 25, Bare Minerals eyeshadow primer in Lit, It Cosmetics Super hero mascara, various lipglosses, NYC, Charlotte Tilbury, Fenty Beauty

Any new beauty discoveries: YES. Ones I cannot afford A SA at Nordstrom gave me delux samples of Cle de Peau serum that just came out, also La Crema , & a sample of a foundation called The Foundation in 050, (perfect color match) sigh. But wow, there is a difference in my skin. No dry patches AT ALL. Maybe if I save up for it. Idk. And, give up facials. Lol. And, lipsticks/glosses.

Yes, this foundation is definitely for dry skin. I think it would be great in the winter for me. But so $$$$. My skin used to be extremely dry when living in NJ. But, now living in S. Florida, thankfully, it’s not as dry.

My skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.

Favorite look you’ve worn: EYES — UD Primer Potion in Enigma. Ace Beaute Paradise Fallen Palette: Pure (crease and swept around to lower lid), Stone (outer corners over Pure), Twilight (lid), Moon Glow (brow bone, inner corner), and Black Out (lower lash line; outer third of upper lash line). UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Perversion (top and bottom waterlines). NYX Worth the Hype Mascara. LIPS — MAC Mineralize Rich Lipstick in Ionized. CHEEKS — MUG Blush in Secret Admirer (OG). FACE — NYX Angel Veil Face Perfecting Primer; BH Cosmetics Naturally Flawless Foundation in Ivory; e.l.f. HD Powder; Looxi Beauty HL in Pandora; Sephora Tranquil (contour); e.l.f. Original Mist & Set.

Most used product of the week: My usual dailies. I was trying to play with some of my new stuff this week.

Any new beauty discoveries: The Wet n Wild Dragon Scales quad is so freaking good. I used it yesterday and was really impressed. If W n W could keep up that kind of quality in all their eye palettes, I’d stop complaining about the reformulation.

I’m also loving the Ace Beaute Paradise Fallen Palette. The purple and gray theme is a favorite of mine for eyeshadows, and they nailed it. The mattes are really powdery, but they blend so well that I don’t care. The shimmers are creamy and gorgeous.

I think you sold me on paradise fallen. The only thing I have in that family is Smashbox CS Punked. It coordinates w/my fave Zoeva En Taupe, too. Thanks. It’s one of those that goes OOS all the time, right?

My skin tone/coloring: Medium w/ olive undertones, MAC NC37, Lancome Teint Idole 24H Foundation N360, deep brunette, blue-green eyes w/ gold flecks.

Favorite look you worn: After watching Jackie Aina’s tutorial for Too Faced Pinapple palette, I decided to do something similar using just what I had. Used Nude Tea from DC Lemonade on browbone, MAC Soft Brown transition, with Folie applied all thru crease, outer V and smoked out on lower lashline with Soft Brown. I then took Nars Pasiphae on a dampened brush and applied it going from inner lid over to just barely outer lid, plus pulled upwards creating a cut crease. Applied ABH Electric to inner tear ducts extended onto innermost lower lashline. UD Smog was used to blend Pasiphae with Folie way out on outer lid. Sephora Contour Pencil in Go For A Ride to line lower lashline, then my usual black upper tightline, wings mascara. Cheeks: MAC x Aaliyah Baby Girl, Smashbox Rosemantic and a little DoC Mírame. Lips: Lined with Nyx Earth Tone blended inward, Chanel Rouge Vie lipstick with a little bit of Too Faced Yummy Rummy on center of mouth ombre style.

Most used product of the week: Too Faced Yummy Rummy, UD Naked 1 palette, Nyx Proof It primer, Maybelline Full & Soft WP mascara, Smashbox Fishnet eye pencil, Lancome Teint Idole 24H Foundation N360, MJ Dew You Dew Drops, UD All Nighter.

Any new beauty discoveries: Nothing really comes to mind.

My skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Favourite look you worn: I used shades from a couple of different palettes for this favourite look – Louder (copper shade) from the Playlist, with Midnight Sky (a darkened blue) from bareMinerals Soft and Smokey on the lower lid and Midnight Luminance – a greenish shade in the crease. I paired it with Clarins Joli Rouge Red Terra.

Most used product of the week: I am using up my Clarins Everlasting Foundation in linen because it has been open for awhile, so that has been the one constant this week.

Any new beauty discoveries: For some reason I have had a bad outbreak of eczema this week, mainly along my lower arms and hands. So I went to the Chemist and they put me onto an Australian brand called Grahams – the cream was made up by an Australian who had a son with very bad eczema. After researching and working on varying formulas, they have developed a wonderful range of skincare products that treat this debilitating skin disease. I bought the Eczema and Dermatitis Cream and it has been amazing. In less than a week my eczema has just about gone.
Info about the range is here :www.grahamsnatural.com.au.

Favorite look worn: Just a really simple 3 colour eye – matte cream browbone, soft brown crease and shimmery champagne lid with metallic bronze eyeliner and curled lashes. Mauve brown cheeks with golden peach highlighter and sheer red lip stain.

Most used product of the week: BH Cosmetics Duolight Highlight palette – I needed another highlighting palette like I need a hole in the head but this is SO GORGEOUS. It’s better that ABH Aurora!

Any new beauty discoveries: The Neutrogena gel sheet mask in the purple packet is really good 🙂
