24 shades of ColourPop Pressed Powder Shadows were recently added to the brand’s permanent range, and I’m so happy that they were! There were lots of fun pop of color in this set with a good variety in finishes.

It’s an old MUFE XL palette, which are no longer sold (they changed the design!). I use whatever I have… it’s just a mish mash of empty palettes (Z Palettes, though I don’t buy those any more, Coloured Raine, ColourPop, MAC, MUFE, NARS, etc.) – whatever is open I’ll use!

I have been planning on getting a few of these but was waiting for ColourPop to have one of their regular free shipping promotions. I just checked their site and it turns out they’re doing it right now! Time to make my decisions! I’m definitely getting Deja Boo, and probably La Playa and Slayfarer. I’ll have to give it one last glance before placing the order. Thank you for your hard work!

I placed two ColourPop orders two days ago, wouldn’t you know!! Nothing stopping me from placing another one. These are lovely shadows. Overall, I think ColourPop does such a good job with their products.
Christine, I noticed someone else asking you about your storage system for your single magnetized shadows and it got me wondering. I know you said that you basically pop them into whatever palette is open. Just curious, what you think the best way to organize single pan shadows for the everyday makeup user? By shade family, by finish, by brand? Maybe this could be a future question but I am curious about your thoughts and also some people don’t own any single pan shadows. Any advice?

Hi Deborah,

I’d think about how you would use your eyeshadow – I don’t think there’s a right or wrong way. It’s more about what would make it easiest for you to use your shades – so maybe you think “I want to do a green eye” then having all your greens together makes more sense. I organize by brand and color since I rarely use anything after I’ve tested it so it’s more important for me to know where the brand’s formula is than anything else!
