Skintone / coloring : light, MAC NC 20, med brown hair and eyes
Favorite look worn : ABH Prism Palette. Lure in the crease. Pyramid on the eyelid. Throne as an eyeliner on the upper lash line. Clinique High Impact Black Mascara. Cargo Shelly Beach (an emerald green ) liner in lower waterline. Too Faced Papa Don’t Peach Blush. MAC Warm Rose Highlighter. Limecrime Bleached liquid lip
Most used product: Too Faced Papa Don’t Peach Blush. MAC Warm Rose Highlighter. MAC Teddy Eyeliner. Clinique High Impact Black Mascara
New Beauty Discoveries : I found a red lip I don’t hate. Buxom Cloak n Dagger Plumpline lip liner. It was on sale for $8 at Ulta. I don’t really have any red lipsticks so I wear this as a lipstick all over the lips. It comes with a little brush on the other end to smooth out the color. It’s a reddish brownish orangish color. It’s completely out of my comfort zone and surprisingly I don’t hate it:)
My skin tone/coloring: Medium w/ olive undertones MAC NC37, Lancôme Teint Idole Foundation N360, Fenty ProFilt’r 260 or 290, deep brunette, blue-green eyes w/ gold flecks.
Favorite look you worn: A very simple, less-is-more look on Wednesday! Eyes: Used Milani eyeshadow primer, then my usual MAC Orb on browbone, took MAC Saddle first very softly upwards into lower end of Orb as a diffused transition, then built up Saddle in my crease and outer V to full intensity, then went into my UD Heavy Metal Palette and applied Maiden on inside half of my lid, Starfire on outer lid, Demo on lower lashline and to outer V, tightlined upper lashline, curled lashes, used Nyx Brown Perfection in a softened kitten flick and lower, outer lashline, applied mascara. Cheeks: UD Jawbone and then CP Drop Of A Hat. Lips: Nyx Ever Slim Lip Liner and MAC Jade Jagger Sunset Pearl Mineralized Lipstick. CP Here Kitty Kitty for some very light handed spot highlighting. Very soft, glowy, youthful look!
Most used product of the week: MAC Sunset Pearl Mineralized Lipstick by Jade Jagger!
Any new beauty discoveries: That sometimes softer looking makeup looks can be just as amazing as my typical darker, more edgy looks!
Skin tone/coloring: Light neutral skin tone, green eyes, dark hair
Favorite look worn: Too Faced Sweet Peach palette (Georgia as transition shade; Purée to darken crease; Charmed I’m Sure on outer lid, blended into crease; Luscious on center and inner lid). Clinique Berry Pop blush, MAC lipstick in Flat Out Fabulous.
Most used products of the week: Clinique Brow Shaper in Charcoaled, Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation in Desert Beige, NYX Waterproof eyeshadow primer, and Tarte Shape Tape Concealer worn over Smashbox Under Eye Primer.
Any new beauty discoveries: Kat Von D Studded Lipstick in Hellbent. I bought it a few months ago, but I‘ve never reached for it. I decided to wear it one day this week and got so many compliments! It stayed on all day, even through a meal, and it wasn’t too drying (I did use a lip primer underneath it). Hellbent will now be one of my top go-to reds.
My skin tone/coloring: light to medium with warm undertone, MAC NC 23ish
Favorite look you worn: Chanel Road Movie quad/MAC Cosmic Force blush/MAC Velvet Teddy lipstick
Most used product of the week: All of my staples
Any new beauty discoveries: Nothing new to report!
Velvet Teddy is such a classic. One of the all time great “nude” lipsticks in my opinion. 🙂
My skin tone/coloring: light, neutral
Favorite look you worn: I wore LIT Glittergasm over MAC D for Danger on my lips today and have probably never had more compliments on my makeup. For suuuure wearing it to work tomorrow too. It’s pretty fun having people love it for the holiday who would find it tacky and ridiculous most other days of the year. 😉 I love glitter, but for me it actually wasn’t a big deal, I just don’t normally wear it to work. For my own satisfaction though, I really loved the taupe-y smoky eye I did a few days ago with UD Bust, Mushroom, and ACDC shadows and Mushroom and Cuff pencils. It’s not a look I usually do, but it felt really well executed and beautiful, yet edgy.
Most used product of the week: Givenchy Rouge Fetiche lipstick for lips and Sugarpill Lumi loose eyeshadow for eye product <3
Any new beauty discoveries: Been going through black friday skincare haul goodies. So far winners are: The Ordinary retinoid and Holy Snails Shark Sauce and Snowbang. They are REALLY REALLY good. Oh, and drinking collagen for strong fingernails defo isn't a hoax it turns out, but it is pretty expensive for, you know, just having strengthened fingernails. I think it might also help with hangovers? lol.
My skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite look you wore: I can’t remember but it would have included Dior Rosy Glow Awakening Blush and #15 Forever foundation and Smashbox Legendary lipstick
Most used product of the week: ABH Vermeer eyeshadow and Dior Forever foundation (that stuff makes my skin look so good)
Any new beauty discoveries: just how much I need to go out and buy a full bottle of the Dior foundation
My skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Favorite look you worn: EYES — UD Primer Potion in Enigma. Coastal Scents Hot Pot in Antique Lilac (crease); Juvia’s Place Bori, topped with Medusa’s Makeup Glitter in Ziggy (lids); MUFE ME122 Snow (browbone and inner corner). E.l.f. Expert Liquid Liner in Jet Black to do a big wing on the upper lid, and to do a point around the inner corners of the eye. Black Beauty Cosmetics (etsy) Glitter Eye Liner in Apparition on the lower lashline and lower lashes. Physician’s Formula Sexy Booster Va Va Voom Mascara on upper lashes. CHEEKS — Sleek Blush in Pink Ice (from Pink Sprint Blush x 3) buffed to a satin finish, high on the cheekbones and around the temples. LIPS — Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Weirdo lined with UD 24/7 Lip Pencil in Perversion. FACE — Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick in Alabaster; e.lf. HD Powder; Sephora Tranquil (contour); ABH Moonchild HL in Pink Heart.
Most used product of the week: Too Faced Chocolate Gold Palette, plus my everyday stuff.
Any new beauty discoveries: I got sick and didn’t wear makeup most of the week. About the only discovery I made is that Too Faced doesn’t reply to its CS forms or answer its phones. You have to tweet them and tell them you’re about to file a claim with PalPal and your credit card. THEN they get you taken care of right away. Irritating AF. But they came through in the end, and after waiting since Nov. 6, I finally got my Clover Palette in less than a week after tweeting them.
