Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

My skin tone/coloring: fair, cool

Favorite look you worn: Clarins Skin Illusion foundation (I’d put it aside for quite some time), Dior Feel #1 and 2 for a simple but sultry eye look (that darker shadow really makes my brown eyes look “intense”), Clinique Plum Pop on my cheeks (yes, folks, I actually put aside Dior Rosy Glow for one day) and MAC Pleasant Patentpolish lip pencil on my lips.

Most used product of the week: once again it’s Dior Rosy Glow blush

Any new beauty discoveries: Just now nice old school, German-made Nivea is as a day cream under my foundation.

My skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Favourite look you worn: Even though it was a heatwave the last few weeks, there was a slight reprieve last Monday, so I used my Charlotte Tilbury The Rebel, shades 1 & 3 (light vanilla and pearly green), with a taupe crease and matched it with Clarins Joli Rouge lipstick in ginger.

Most used product of the week: Elizabeth Arden’s Ceramide lipstick in Rustic Red. Obsessed with this shade of red as it doesn’t turn pink on my lips.

Any new beauty discoveries: How dehydrating hot days are for my skin and I have had to use a couple of extra drops of argon oil of a night time to soothe it.

Skin tone: Very pale with cool undertones.

Favorite look: I used the Chantecaille Save the Rainforest palette to create my eye look. The initial looks from the Chatecaille palettes are always very glittery until the over spray wears off so I used a matte shade from the Too Faced Peach Matte palette in transition. I used the very shimmery pinkish shade from the palette for brow bone and tear duct highlight. I used the soft taupe over the lid, the dark brown in the outer V and the sort of greenish brown color for a liner. The look turned out beautiful. Chantecaille shadows are usually not very pigmented and lend themselves to a more soft look which I like for everyday. I used my Nars Blissful blush and I wore my Pat McGrath lip in Beautiful Creature again. Can’t get enough of this color. Seriously think I will be wearing it daily until I order more colors. Now that I have tried them I am addicted.

Most used product of the week: Pat McGrath lipstick mentioned above.

New beauty discoveries: It is only new to me and that is the PML lipsticks. I knew from your reviews, Christine, that the lipsticks were the bomb but didn’t know how bomb they are. Seriously, the perfect formula for me and your mentioning that they make your lips look better than they are is so right on. Love it.
