I ordered one of the Girl lip stylos, and am lusting after three or four more. It’s getting to the point where I have a ridiculous number of lipsticks, though… I’m going to have to start thinking about that soon. Should probably de-stash some that are several years old… but hate to do that if I like the color/formula and they still seem fine. Should get rid of the ones where the formula/color never quite worked all that well for me, though.
I’ve been having a ton of fun with new eye products, especially powder eyeshadows on top of creams, and highlighters on top of eyeshadows. I have more fun with highlighters on my eyes than on my cheeks!
In rotation: Continuing to work through my UD Vice 4 palette Favorite looks this week
1. Crowbar on mobile lid (wet application), Bitter topped with Robbery for transition, Delete in crease, and Bones for highlight on brow bones and inner eye. Fully lined eyes with black eye liner and lots of volumizing black mascara.
2. Crease: Framed, deepen with Fastball, deepen with 1985, deepen with Beatdown. Take 1985 to inner crease in halo style. White frost shadow from any palette on mobile lid, topped with Blue Ice from Anastasia’s Moonchild palette.
3. Harlot (inner 1/3 of mobile lid), Pandemonium (middle 1/3 of mobile lid), Beatdown (outer 1/3 of mobile lid), Deadbeat (outer V and lower lash line, blend out lower lash line with Pandemonium.
Caught my eye: MAC Kajal Crayons.
The things that have seriously caught my eye are the new Hourglass Lip Stylos and new eyeshadow shades by UD! Plus those MAC Kajals are looking very tempting, too!
My rotation this week has been minimal. Except for my obsessing over, and then finally nailing a fab eye look using that Viseart Chroma palette, not much. I’ve been so worried and down that I only wore makeup 4 days last week. And then, only because I had to go out.
I’ve been wearing Tartelette In Blloom again, and I think I need to put it away for a while and give some other palettes a chance. Tarte Rainforest of the Sea did get a turn the past two nights though- I love it even more than the original. I was able to wear a little bit of the blue-green shade blended into my crease and outer corner and I loved it! As for what caught my eye, I’m interested in the Hourglass Stylos and I can’t wait to see KVD’s new shades of Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in person. I haven’t been to Sephora in forever.
I got my Colourpop Pressed eye shadows three days ago, and I’v used them every day since!!!
The shimmers are perfection. I just pat my brush into the pan, and I get enough for my whole mobile lid. And they blend out like nothing!!
I’m def going back for more when I have money next!!
I have been loving the Morphe 35 Color Taupe Eyeshadow Palette 35T lately. I love neutrals, and these shadows blend seamlessly and have great pigmentation.
Becca Flowerchild blush has been in constant rotation. Just got MAC Patisserie from B2M and now eyeing Peach Blossom or Creme Cup. Can you say with lighter lip colors in mind , I am ready for SPRING!!
What’s been in your rotation the most this week? KVD Alchemist Holographic and Kat von D Metal Matte palettes
What caught your eye? The new UD eyeshadow singles, especially Relish; some of the MAC Colour Rockers; the new Nyx highlighters; Hourglass Stylo (resisting hard).
