Bronzers | 2016 Editor's Favorites

Top 10 of 2016: Bronzers

These are my favorite bronzers that I’ve reviewed in the last year! I tend to favor bronzers with rosier tones and a little bit of shimmer, though you’ll find some more traditional options on my best of list for 2016!

What were your favorites?

Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Sadly, I missed out on both CP Santos ? and Golden Child. Womp, womp womp.
Maybe they’ll bring them back in one of their brief comebacks…one can only hope?
Favorite I found this year was one in an Ipsy bag from a brand I had never heard of before: Temptu. It’s a liquid bronzer that actually does a great job of holding up even during Monsoon heat and humidity. Mine is labeled “Warm Glow” .

I think Java Sun was my favorite, it looked like the color I sunburn after I have a touch of tan. I know that sounds terrible, but it would be authentic. I never got to swatch it and at that price it’s not something I’d use often so I didn’t get it. I’ll have to re-visit some of the CP ones.
