MAC At the Beach Pro Longwear Colour Stick ($22.00 for 0.049 oz.) is a light, peachy beige with a pearly sheen and warm undertones. It had semi-sheer to mostly opaque color payoff with a lightly creamy texture that made it one of the more blendable shades in the launch. It lasted for over ten hours with no fading or creasing. MAC Crème-filled Pro Longwear Colour Stick ($22.00 for 0.049 oz.) is a light, golden beige with warm undertones and a pearly shimmer-sheen finish. It had semi-opaque coverage at most that applied fairly evenly. The texture was slightly more emollient than the more matte shades, but it still sets nearly instantly after being applied, so there isn’t a lot of room to diffuse and blend out the edges if that is desired. Once it place, it doesn’t budge, smudge, or flake. Dior Cuir Cannage #2 (PiP, ) is warmer (100% similar). Too Faced Shooting Star (LE, $16.00) is darker (95% similar). Anastasia Blush (LE, $12.00) is lighter (95% similar). Marc Jacobs Beauty Hot Pants (PiP, ) is less shimmery (95% similar). Makeup Geek Shimma Shimma (DC, $6.00) is lighter (95% similar). MAC Bleached Out Beige Pro Longwear Colour Stick ($22.00 for 0.049 oz.) is a light beige with warm, golden undertones and a frosted finish. It had semi-sheer to semi-opaque coverage, but the drier texture made it hard to layer without the color becoming uneven as some color would lift or would layer more intensely over some parts and not at all on other areas. Once in place, it was difficult to blend out at all, but it had bulletproof wear. Rouge Bunny Rouge Rain Dove (P, $19.00) is darker (95% similar). bareMinerals Air (PiP, ) is more shimmery (95% similar). bareMinerals Ginger Sugar (LE, $14.00) is more shimmery, darker, warmer (90% similar). LORAC Black #2 (LE, $19.00) is warmer (90% similar). Dior Eternal Gold #2 (LE, ) is lighter (90% similar). Surratt Beauty Soie (P, $20.00) is lighter, warmer (90% similar). Tarte Crystal Spark (LE, ) is more shimmery, lighter, brighter (85% similar). MAC Fashion Beat (LE, $17.00) is darker (85% similar). NARS Mahe #4 (PiP, $19.00) is less shimmery, lighter, warmer (85% similar). MAC Crème-filled (LE, $22.00) is lighter, warmer (80% similar). See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
MAC Tabby Pro Longwear Colour Stick ($22.00 for 0.049 oz.) is a light, yellowed beige with warm undertones and a mostly matte finish. It was slightly creamy so it didn’t tug when used as a lower lash eyeliner, but it wasn’t creamy enough to really maneuver easily over the lid itself without tugging moderately. It had semi-opaque coverage that was somewhat buildable to greater intensity, though it was never full coverage. It did apply well to the waterline, and it lasted for six hours well and I could still see bits of it remaining after eight hours. As a lower lash liner/lid color, it wore for ten hours without issue. Anastasia Lace (P, $12.00) is more shimmery (95% similar). Laura Mercier Bone (PiP, $23.00) is darker (95% similar). Make Up For Ever M510 Vanilla (DC, $21.00) is darker (95% similar). Tarte Breakfast in Bed (LE, ) is warmer (95% similar). MAC Totally Obsessed (PiP, ) is darker (95% similar). Tarte Free Spirit (LE, ) is lighter (95% similar). MAC Best of Me (P, $20.00) is lighter (95% similar). Tarte Nudes (LE, ) is less glossy (95% similar). Too Faced Vintage Lace (LE, $16.00) is lighter (95% similar). NARS Look Closer I (DC, $25.00) is lighter (90% similar). Viseart Grande Pro (Vol. 1) #6 (LE, ) is less glossy (90% similar). ColourPop One & Done (LE, $6.00) is lighter, brighter (90% similar). Disney by Sephora Flounder (LE, ) is darker (90% similar). Urban Decay Blur (Naked Reloaded) (PiP, $19.00) is darker, warmer (90% similar). About Face Smell Before Rain (P, $16.00) is lighter, cooler (90% similar). Sephora Cozy Sweater (DC, $10.00) is darker, brighter (90% similar). Estee Lauder Vanille (LE, ) is less glossy (90% similar). Wet 'n' Wild Not a Basic Peach #6 (PiP, ) is lighter (90% similar). Wet 'n' Wild Walking on Eggshells #1 (PiP, ) is darker (90% similar). LORAC Undressed (PiP, $19.00) is lighter (90% similar). Top 20 dupes listed, see the rest. MAC Sweet Praline Pro Longwear Colour Stick ($22.00 for 0.049 oz.) is a light-medium peach with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-sheer to semi-opaque color coverage with a smooth, barely-creamy texture. It didn’t tug when I used it along the lower lash line, but it was hard to apply directly from the tube onto the lid. I tried using brushes as well as fingertips, but the color tends to cling to whatever instrument and doesn’t transfer as well to the skin. Once on the lid, it lasted for ten hours. Natasha Denona First (PiP, ) is warmer (95% similar). ColourPop The One (PiP, $4.50) is darker, warmer (95% similar). Make Up For Ever M534 Oat (DC, $21.00) is warmer (95% similar). Urban Decay ABC Gum (DC, $19.00) is warmer (90% similar). Too Faced Reindeer (LE, $16.00) is darker, more muted (90% similar). Viseart Letterbox (PiP, ) is lighter, warmer (90% similar). Chanel Elemental #4 (PiP, ) is darker, warmer (90% similar). Too Faced Peaches 'n Cream (PiP, $16.00) is lighter (90% similar). Viseart Languor (LE, ) is lighter (90% similar). Urban Decay Reflection (LE, $19.00) is darker (90% similar). Tarte Flower Child (PiP, ) is lighter (95% similar). ColourPop That's Logic (LE, $4.50) is lighter (85% similar). ColourPop Holiday Party Time (LE, $4.50) is lighter (85% similar). MAC Art Thera-peachy (P, $23.00) is darker (85% similar). MAC Endless Frequency (LE, $17.00) is darker (85% similar). FORMULA OVERVIEW | MAC Pro Longwear Colour Stick ($22.00 for 0.049 oz.) is supposed to be a “medium-to-full coverage” cream eyeshadow pencil that can be used “all-over” the lid or as “statement liner.” The formula is described as “long-wearing, vibrant, and impactful” as well as waterproof. They have decent to good color payoff with fairly smooth consistencies, but they aren’t the creamiest nor the most emollient, so some shades can tug (the more metallic/shimmery shades tended to be the more emollient, while some of the matte to semi-matte shades were drier) or pull on the lid or lash line. The formula is waterproof and fade/smudge-proof; I didn’t have any issues with creasing after ten hours of wear with any of them. I did, however, find them hard to apply and blend out, as they dry down almost instantly. They are pretty hard to use together, as they don’t like to blend into each other, whether you use fingertips, a brush, silicone applicator, foam applicator, damp brush, synthetic brush, natural brush, or the shadow stick itself. This is also true with an attempt to use it all over the lid as a single color; I had the best luck using some of the lighter shades as a wash of color and applying with my fingertip, which helped to keep the product a little more malleable. They are easiest to use as a base, but they have a drier texture that made powders look a little dry/chalky on top at times. They can work as a liner as well (eight to ten hours), and a few of the lighter shades I tried on my lower waterline with varying degrees of success (six to eight hours), though I am not sure if they are recommended for waterline usage (MAC should likely have that info listed when they go live on the website).

Hmmm, if MAC says these are safe for waterline, I might get one just to test it out. I have a wet waterline, and maybe this drier formula will work
So far, lining with these is the easiest, IMO.
Guess At The Beach is the one to look out for then.
It’s not half-bad!
Crème-Filled as a lid wash could be nice for summer, I think. Especially if I *carefully* applied a slightly deeper crease shade in conjunction with it to wear to the water- park. Not sure if this formula could work like that, though?
I think it could work at a water park 😉
I am super prone to creasing so I’m pretty interested in these given your description of the formula as more stiff actually. I think I’m going to get At The Beach because it looks like a really good everyday type of color.
The shimmery ones are the easiest to use, and I don’t hate them, but I wish they remained malleable for longer to be more versatile.
These look really nice to brighten up the eye area!
Glad you liked ’em, Lupe!
Did you try At the Beach on the waterline? If so, how well did it work there? I’m still looking for something better than the Rimmel I have for a light nude for the waterline. Thanks!
Sorry, I did not!
I’m really digging these neutral colours!
Yay!
I’m not sure these work that well but they might be good for waterlining. Cream would probably be the best choice for my coloring.
Some of them definitely seem to work out on the waterline!
