MAC Ascent of Glamour Colourdrenched Pigment ($22.00 for 0.065 oz.) is described as a "cobalt violet-blue." It's a, medium-dark violet purple with cool undertones and a frosted sheen. It had good color payoff applied dry and was slightly richer and more opaque applied damp. The texture is dense and smooth, but it is so thick that it seems almost like a cream eyeshadow when you initially apply it. The color adhered well to the skin, but the blending was where it seemed harder to really diffuse and soften the color into the next. I noticed slight creasing after seven and a half hours of wear.
