Poolside is a medium purple with strong, cool, bluish undertones and a frosted, metallic finish. It had good color coverage in a single layer, but the texture had chunkier shimmer and was less seamless when applied and blended out. I really had to buff and work the product onto my cheeks to get a more even application, and that seemed to wash away some of the intensity and depth of the color itself (even when I tried it as an eyeshadow and layered it in an attempt to recapture the depth). There was very slight emphasis of my skin's texture that I could see in person. This shade lasted well for eight hours on me.
