5 Gorgeous Copper Lipsticks to Try for Fall

I touched on some of my favorite copper eyeshadows last month, but coppery lip colors are becoming more and more prevalent with each passing season (much to my surprise!), so here are a few that I really like:

  1. NYX Wrath — A Warm Copper with a Metallic finish.
  2. Kat Von D Thin Lizzy — A Warm Copper with a Frost finish.
  3. Maybelline Maple Kiss (925) — A Warm Copper with a Satin finish.
  4. Milani Bronze Beauty — A Warm Copper with a Metallic finish.
  5. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Authentic — A Warm Copper with a Metallic finish.

The side-by-side link isn’t quite working, which we’ll fix probably on Monday (it’s a little minor for a weekend emergency, I try not to be a crazy boss, haha!), so please use THIS LINK to view side-by-side swatches 🙂

I like Maple Kiss in particular from these. I love coppery lipsticks but i don’t think I own one. An SA talked me into trying Tom Ford Warm Sable (I think it was Henry from lips and boys) on though, and I loved it, so maybe it’ll be my first.
Btw, the link to the side by side swatches is broken right now.

Christine, I am sure you are very busy with the move and the other holiday collection,s but if you do get a moment then could you tell me if you’ll review Mac’s Evening Rendevous, which launches tomorrow? It looks similar to Nars Silvia, Bite’s Barberry online but I am not sure. Thanks in advance.

I honestly love the subtle copper tones of Maybelline Maple Kiss and KVD Thin Lizzy for the types of copper I would wear and feel like I look good in. The more frosty ones are the sort of shades that over-emphasize the yellow in my skin, great back when I used to lay outside and tan (I would effortlessly get into NC42-44 catagory!), but not anymore.

OFRA’s long lasting liquid lipstick in Solano is a beautiful copper. I am usually not a fan of liquid lipsticks, but these have a mousse-like texture and aren’t totally matte (they aren’t totally smudgeproof, either, in my experience).

Copper lipstick is something I’ve never tried. I just don’t know how it would work with my skintone, which is about NW05 or a tad lighter in winter. Are there any you think would suit me? I’m curious to give it a try. 😀

Lol, this website is affecting my shopping habits! But in all seriousness I never even thought to try metallic shades. I just ordered NYX Wrath to try it out, it looks so good on you in the swatches! I also got an e.l.f. Bronzer palette and Milani Violet Volt in the same order lol.

I’ve always had my eye on Wrath, the finish is so unique and gorgeous! The Wicked lippie set is actually on sale on the Nyx website right now and I’m tempted. So tempted. I love copper, I already have one copper lipstick and that’s definitely not enough!
