Dare to Soar
Wet ‘n’ Wild Dare to Soar ColorIcon Baked Blush ($4.99 for 0.19 oz.) is a rich, medium-dark pink with warmer undertones and cooler, violet shimmer. The texture was more firmly pressed in the pan with a denser, slightly drier texture than most of the other ColorIcon cheek colors I’ve tested, so a denser or slightly “rougher” brush worked best for picking up product but also for blending it. Some of my softer, airier brushes didn’t seem to blend and diffuse the edges as much as I needed with this particular shade as it had a tendency to adhere strongly wherever initially applied. It had good pigmentation that lasted for eight hours on me.

Formula Overview
$4.99/0.19 oz. - $26.26 Per Ounce
The formula is described as having a "mesmerizing tropical glow" with "micro-fine pearl pigments" that "blend beautifully onto the skin." The formula has a denser feel to it overall, and whether it was soft and yielding or dry and firmer depended on the shade. It was a fairly pigmented formula that lasted for eight hours on me. Two shades were easy to work with and blend out, but one was more troublesome, so the quality wasn't consistent across the range.

WANT! Yes, it only receives a B-, but this is such an interesting and rather unique shade. Plus, hey, it’s only &$5!
I just WANT it for the hummingbird, lol.
I was having the same thoughts…and I have to go to CVS after work tomorrow! I’ve spent a lot more $ on products that did worse than B- :/
Still waiting on my whole collection to arrive from Wet ‘N Wild. I swear the wait on this has been crazy. I think it is scheduled to arrive tomorrow but I will believe it when I see it. They have moved the date back twice now. Not sure I will purchase from their website again. I could have picked up pieces of it after running around to a lot of different stores so thought it would be better just to pick up all at once from WNW but …..
I have liked all of the shades and this one is really pretty. Can’t wait for it to get here.
I’m not a person for bright pink blush, but this color grabbed my attention. So pretty to look at in the packaging!
On me being very cool toned it applies smoothly with one of their own WetnWild brushes. I had to wear humminbirds on my face being an enthusiastic lover of gardens all my life. I ordered on line from WetnWild it did take full 4 days to arrive but I have never had any trouble at all placing or receiving my goodies. This is my favorite shade of all three but they are all so pretty! And the pin! Awww! They sure got me!
I almost died for the mermaid collection but decided to skip it then Ulta had it on sale. Still resist it. They’ll get me sooner or later. Mermaids?! Wish they included a pin as well then I fall for sure. Lol! ??♀️ What’s a girl to do with all these pretty temptations and WetnWild’s awarding quality for the price? Omg! 🙂
