The Beached Bronzer formula is supposed to be “super-soft”, blendable, and have “sheer, natural-looking coverage” with a matte finish. There is a blurb about “HPP (Highlighter performing Pigments) Technology [that] provides rich color, long-lasting elements, and the perfect level of coverage” (which is a little confusing, but it seems to suggest perhaps more of a true-to-color concept, where color stays true for awhile–that is how I’m interpreting it). The consistency is very smooth and finely-milled–almost creamy in that respect, but it is a little thinner and feels distinctly powder-like. It had sheer coverage that was buildable to medium coverage or so when applied with three layers. The silky consistency made blending effortless, and the matte finish didn’t seem to accentuate my skin’s natural texture. The powder lasted for eight hours on me. The two presently in the range are more light-to-medium, though the sheerer formula seems like it should work on very fair complexions. This is the pinker-toned of the two, with Bronzed having stronger yellow tones. I do wish there was at least one richer, darker shade here for deeper skin tones.

I’ve been considering this, as it’s lighter. I have Park Ave. Princess, though, so now I’m rethinking. The swatches you have look fairly close. I’ll probably need to see it in person next time I’m at Sephora or Ulta.
I think bronzers are often a product where undertones matter a lot!
Oh yikes, this is way too orange for me, but looks nice on you! Also eyeing that Too Faced Honey Bear lipstick, looks like a great MLBB color
Thanks, Katherine!
I’m definitely eyeing this. Well, both of them, it looks like I could wear either since the “darker” one isn’t so dark. But I appreciate the peachy tones in this one.
Awesome! 🙂
I was really interested in this, but it seems quite orange. I don’t think it’d look good on me at all.
It seemed more brown than orange to my eye, but if you are yellower in tone, it may look more orange.
This looks perfect for me as I need a bronzer and love UD. Love the lipstick you are wearing.
Thanks, Lily!
Wow, the formula sounds wonderful, but that swatch really makes it look like a blush more than a bronzer–so peachy. Maybe I’ll get it to wear on the cheeks.
If you were pink-toned, it would work better since it has a rosier tone. Sorry I am the wrong skin tone here to demonstrate that!
Gorgeous eyes!
Thanks, Ariella!
I’m glad this did well. I’ll be picking one or maybe both of them up sooner or later. I love that the packaging on these!
Yay! I’ll be curious if you try ’em, Nicole 🙂
I love this! Can’t wait to see its sister review. I want to pick up one at least… I am such a sucker for a good bronzer in pretty packaging…
I hope you like one!
I like that this is a good option for fairer complected individuals who may want a really flattering bronzer. However, I think it’s definitely too light for me. If I need around 3 coats of MAC Cheek Pollen in order for it to give me that peachier bronze sunkissed look….then, no, not this.
I can definitely see it being too light for you, Nancy!
This looks so beautiful on you! The whole look is gorgeous. ?
Thanks, Gillian!
This reads more like a blush to me.
It’s definitely more bronzer than blush, but you can definitely wear it as a blush, too!
Sun-Kissed looks really pretty on you! (And the stunning eye look is really making me think harder about that Foil palette!) I can’t tell so much from the pics though – do you feel like it’s more of a peach-toned blush or an actual bronzer? I feel like it reads really pretty blush rather than bronzer. What do you think?
It’s more of a bronzer than a blush, but I am not pink-toned, so against my skin tone, it doesn’t look as brown as a result.
Thank you! This may be taking a trip to Ulta to look at in person then. 🙂
I’m not wearing much in the way of bronzer, but this could certainly work as a blush without looking too muddy.
It could!
Hmm, it has a kind of peachy-pink tone that I don’t really like. The packaging is very pretty (although that’s the view from any of my windows if you look up!), and a good matte bronzer is always a great thing to have, but I don’t think the undertones would work for me very well. Maybe the other shade?
Aw, drat! Here’s hoping the other shade is better for you!
Looks very natural, I like it!
It is!
If I didn’t already own one of the dupes I would get this for sure. I’m a sucker for pretty packaging and I love the palms trees!
The packaging is cute and functional!
In my opinion, this bronzer is very important. Because, I wore Too Faced’s “Bronzed and Poreless” bronzer religiously for years, I LOVED that stuff. However, Too Faced recently discontinued this item. I was hunting around for a similarly peachy-toned fair bronzer, that also had to be matte, and very finely milled to have similar blurring properties (as I was so accustom to how my skin looked with the Bronzed and Poreless bronzer). So for me, this Urban Decay bronzer came out just in the nick of time, to be a suitable replacement! It’s not EXACTLY the same color, but close enough that I feel like I look like *myself* when I wear it, the bronzer color I have loved for a long time. 🙂
That is such great news, Taylor! I am glad you were able to find a replacement 🙂
ARE YOU SERIOUS?! They DC’d it!! WHY?????!!!! That is my favorite!!! Nothing else looks right.
Girl I KNOW I am so sad also, but give this a shot. They don’t seem super similar online but I found this Urban Decay one is a better replacement than say TF Milk Chocolate .. Etc.
You may be able to still find TF Bronzed and Poreless on Amazon, I got two back ups when I saw it wasn’t on TF website anymore. <3
Thanks for the heads up anyway! At least I now know not to travel with my TF bronzer until I find a back up. Not going to risk losing it.
that is LOVELY. I’m gonna have to check these out when they drop!
Just when I thought I could save some money on an UD release, it turns out to be good for us pale gals! Damn. Guess I’m shelling out for this then!
This looks lovely on you, but I suspect it might come off as too orange-y on my skin.
This does seem less orange than most bronzers. Bronzer is a product I rarely use (since cooler contour powders have become available) because the orange-y tones just aren’t flattering on me.
I was hoping one of these would work for me, but I don’t think they’ll show up on my skintone, except for looking like I’m muddy! Especially not after I have a bit of a tan this summer. 🙁
I like this, luckily I already have KA’s Desert Days that I got in Beautylish’s Lucky Bag at New Year!
For how long will this be available??
This is permanent!
