Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palette Review, Photos, Swatches for Fall 2010

Urban Decay Naked Palette
Urban Decay Naked Palette

Ready to Get Naked?

Urban Decay Naked Palette ($44.00) is new-for-fall and contains twelve shades–eight are incredibly neutral, but four pack a little–much welcome–color punch. There are six permanent and existing shades, one repromoted shade, and five new shades.

The palette includes: Virgin (satin chamois), Sin (champagne), Naked (matte buff nude), Sidecar (cocoa with golden sparkle sheen), Buck (matte nutmeg), Half Baked (subtle, lustrous bronze), Smog (deep coppery bronze), Darkhorse (bronze patina), Toasted (rich copper), Hustle (plum brown satin), Creep (onyx with gold sparkle), Gunmetal (gunmetal gray with silver glitter). The final piece is a double-ended 24/7 Liner with Zero (black) on one side and Whiskey (creamy rich brown) on the other.

  • Virgin is a pale, shimmered nude beige. It’s very, very light, but it’s such a beautiful neutral. It’s a little frosty for a highlighter, particularly on darker skin tones, but it would make for a great all-over wash or pop of light on the inner tear duct.
  • Sin is a champagne with a touch of pink and a frostier finish. This shade is permanently available.
  • Naked is a matte medium beige-brown. It has a very soft, smooth texture–not at all powdery or chalky.
  • Sidecar is a shimmered, medium bronze brown with almost a red undertone. This shade was in the first edition of the Book of Shadows. (I didn’t see it on Urban Decay’s website at all.)
  • Buck is a matte darkened beige-brown. It’s really a darker version of Naked. It has the same silky smooth texture and rich color pay off of Naked, too.
  • Half Baked is a coppery bronze with a frost-metallic finish. This shade is permanently available.
  • Smog is a medium dark bronze with a gilded bronze sheen. This shade is permanently available.
  • Darkhorse is a darkened deep chocolate brown with flecks of bronze.
  • Toasted is a medium dark pinky brown with a shimmery finish. This shade is permanently available.
  • Hustle is a dark plummy chocolate brown with a soft shimmer finish.
  • Creep is a darkened blue-black base with silver and teal shimmer. Urban Decay said “onyx with gold glitter” but I really didn’t see the gold.
  • Gunmetal is a blue-gray metallic that really must be seen to be appreciated. It almost feels like a duochrome, because it flashes blue but it’s dark and smoldering. This shade is permanently available.

The palette also contains a double-ended eyeliner, and Zero is your basic creamy black with a near-matte finish–if you’re an Urban Decay palette collector, you probably have enough Zero eyeliners to get you through the next twenty years. However, it also contains Whiskey, which is a brand new shade of creamy chocolate brown with red undertones. It’s very similar to Bourbon, but it seems a little lighter and doesn’t have the shimmer.

It’s packaged in a velvety chocolate brown exterior, which makes it look sleek and sophisticated–it’s probably one of the classier products I’ve seen come from the brand, actually. It feels very luxe and not quite Urban Decay–but I think it’s a good thing, and it’s nice to see. This is also an amazing value palette. The palette contains 12 x 0.05 oz. eyeshadows, plus 2 x 0.02 oz. liners and a miniature-sized Primer Potion of 0.13 fl. oz. (I actually originally thought it came sans UDPP, because I just received the palette… but the back of it says you do get it, so it probably tags along in a plastic package, but not included in the actual palette case.) The real coup here is the twelve full-size eyeshadows–yes, that’s right–a $17 full-size eyeshadow from Urban Decay contains 0.05 oz. of product, which is exactly what we have here–a value of $204.

I think this is one of Urban Decay’s best palettes to date, actually. It combines incomparable value for the price tag, but the high quality of their eyeshadows really comes through, too. There are no glittery, fussy shades here (and I can’t tell you how happy I am to NOT see Midnight Cowboy Rides Again!). Every shade is soft, smooth, and richly pigmented–even the mattes. For those with a lot of palettes, it may feel a bit redundant, as there are seven shades in it that we’ve seen again–but still five we haven’t. Not that I’m getting through an eyeshadow pan any time soon, but at least you can feel at ease if you fall in love with one of those seven.

If you want to know more about how products are evaluated, read out Rating System FAQ! 🙂

  • Product: 30/30
  • Value: 10/10
  • Ease of Use: 5/5
  • Packaging: 5/5

RECOMMENDATION: If you’re an eyeshadow fiend and love yourself some shimmery finishes, Urban Decay’s new Naked palette won’t disappoint. It even includes two matte shades–something I’ve remarked on for the lack thereof in previous palettes–and a good mix of neutrals, smoldering neutrals, and darker, smokier colors. There is nothing about this palette that’s a miss.

AVAILABILITY: June 29th @ Urban Decay; around August 1st @ Sephora, ULTA, Macy’s, Beauty.com

oh my godddd I love this!!! thank you urban decay!! amazing. This is way better than alice in wonderland pallet for us neutral gals!

Danielle Avatar

The good news? The only color I have from this palette is Smog from the Summer of Love palette, so I can justify getting this! I also DON’T have Zero yet, and I’m super excited about the great value! Thanks for the post Christine… when does it go on sale?

Danielle Avatar

Oops, totally missed “Available June 29th” Sorry about that 😉

I know, I’m a new MU addict, and an even more recent UD convert. I only got into collecting RIGHT after the AIW palette sold out everywhere… 🙁 LOL. Super excited about this though; will definitely be ordering on Tuesday!

Ashley Avatar

Wow, this is a really nice neutral palette! I’m glad to see that there aren’t any super glittery crappy shades like Midnight Cowboy. I might have to seriously think about this one!

Sally Avatar

Ok, I just keep coming back to this post and creeping on the beauty that is this palette. Haha.
Christine, I forgot to ask – do you know if it’s supposed to be original PP or Sin?

Bridget Avatar

I want this!! I don’t have anything by UD, because they don’t sell it in my country 🙁 I’m going to the UK on Tuesday though and UDPP is on my shopping list, I’m off to inspect the UK website to see when it will be released there, hopefully while I’m over there! x

lucy x Avatar

hey Bridget 🙂
We don’t have a UD website here in the UK but you can get it at some outlets of Debenhams, Boots and House of Fraser. Happy shopping! 😀 xx

Kaylabella Avatar

This will be mine! Finally I can get all of the colors I’ve been dying for! And the best part? I only have two of the twelve shades! So excited!

Claudia Avatar

Is this a limited edition or will it be permanent palette? I ask because I think a LOT of people will be getting it and I was going to wait until my birthday to get it (July) =)

Hanna Avatar

I know i was thinking the same thing. So stupid that they don’t ship to Canada so I really depend on Sephora as well. Better be available on their website since i live 5 hours away from “my” Sephora.

I N E E D this!
I am fairly new to UD, so i don’t think I have any of the colours and I don’t have Zero either!

Leah Avatar

Ahhh! I want this SO bad, but I’m ridiculously broke right now. If I waited a month or two do you think I’d still be able to track one down?

Alyssa Avatar

thanks so much for the post, Christine! i can’t wait to see your looks with this. 🙂 will this palette be limited edition? (i REALLY hope not!)

Jennifer Avatar

OMG!!!! I want this soooooo bad!! I love UD’s shadows. I’m so happy to see a palette that is neutral and mostly glitter free.

Laurie Avatar

Actually, it was on the sephora website since the 30th. It sold out right away, and went back on this morning, the 7th, and sold out again. I suggest getting on the mailing list for when it comes back! That’s what I did!

Chester Avatar

This palette looks very promising! It would be my first UD product. I’d be soo happy if UDPP is included since I want to try it.

Any recs on where I can find it? They don’t sell UD in my country but I’ll be in the US in July. Where do I look for UD?

Christine Avatar

On the back of the palette, it says that UDPP is included, so it should be. Since I got mine from PR, it didn’t come with any packaging – just the palette!

I’m not 100% sure yet, but Sephora will probably carry these at some point, so you could try there!

Katie Avatar

Hi Christine! Do you know if the palette will be sold in Sephora on the 29th as well? Will it even be sold in Sephora? Thanks so much for the info – I think my heart stopped when I saw the photos/swatches. 🙂

rachel Avatar

I’ve been in the mood for some new make up but nothing has really seemed quite right to give my heart to and then *swoon* I see this! Looks puuuuuuurfect!

Carrie Avatar

OMFG!!! This palette looks simply amazing. I luv UD shadows, but most of their palettes look very childish to me. I don’t want pull out drawers, hidden panels, etc. This one is chic & classic, absolute perfection! I hope Sephora will carry it, but I will order from UD website if necessary. Thanks for the great pics & swatches!

Rosie Avatar

There are 7 shades in here that I don’t have. It’s freakin’ beautiful. It’s perfect for student teaching this upcoming fall! Then I can have fun with Urban Decay in a “professional” way! For fun and for school! Woo hoo! Okay, I’m way too excited!

Anita Avatar

Hey Christine, do you think this palette would work for / show up on us warmer darker skinned ladies (NC 35+)? The only Urban Decay eye shadows I have are Baked, Half-Baked and Scandal. Wondering if it’s worth my while to pick this up too. I’ve only dipped my toes in the Urban Decay wells of goodness. Let me know what you think!
Thank you in advance! Hope you’re having a good summer thus far!

rocks Avatar

Hey, do you think that if I buy this palette I won’t need to buy any eyeshadows (at least from the nude/natural range) until I run out of this? Well, cosmetics are expensive, so I’m always trying to save something and this palette you gave max ratings while Dior or Chanel ones get a lil less…

Christine Avatar

In order to get an A+, it has to hit all points – and it’s REALLY hard for any brand, let alone a high-end designer brand like Dior or Chanel, to get perfect marks on value. It’s just so, so rare for that to happen.

I think this could definitely suffice for neutrals for awhile, though 🙂

zoe77 Avatar

wow i am LOVING this!!!!!!! kind of unexpected, but in a good way definately! any word on when youll have pics/details regarding alice and olivia for mac? im seriously feening for info on that!!!!!!!

rashmi Avatar

will surelly buy when it comes to sephora …
love the review and u r awesome in doing ur work right in everyway …
not at all bias truelly ur style
love u n temptalia

Jemma Avatar

This is WAYYYY better than Too Faced’s Naked Eyeshadow whatever… and you’re right Christine! The value is much better… soooo in love with this palette! Thank you for the preview!

Katie Avatar

Do you know if they plan to sell the Whiskey eyeliner on it’s own? If so I’m totally getting it! My staple eyeliner right now is Bourbon, but if they had a formula without shimmer that would make me happy. 🙂

Rowan Avatar

I need this!!!! I’ve never gotten any other of the Urban Decay palettes because I simply could not justify all those bright beautiful colors I’d never wear. But this one is soooo beautiful and totally worth the money!

xMissxAndristx Avatar

omg i need this!!!!! I hope they release whiskey as a single too!! I’ve wanted a non-sparkly brown for ages!!!! ahhhh i’m so excited!!!!

Miss Molly Avatar

I am wanting this so badly after seeing your swatches! Your swatches look so much smoother than what UD posted on their facebook.
I don’t know how you review all the makeup that you do, but please continue to be amazing!

lulee Avatar

love the packaging, love the value, HATE the colors. i can not wear browns for the life of me. i think it would be incredible if they released a palette like this with colors *swoon*

Ellie Avatar

This looks gorgeous! I would totally get it since I’m a neutral loving girl if I didn’t have all of the perm colors already in Book of Shadows 2 and the Alice in Wonderland one..

Nicole Avatar

I have been a serious Urban Decay skeptic for a while. But I took the plunge and bought a few individual shadows, and I LOVE THEM. Thus…I think I need this palette!! LOL. I’m loving neutrals lately…give me more!

Tiffany Avatar

I love the color! I have bourbon but I would like one without glitter sometimes. Will this become part of the line or just in this palette?

Hannah Avatar

I love neutrals, and I love UD’s eyeshadow formulas (when there isn’t too much chunky glitter involved), so naturally I CANNOT WAIT for this pallet!!

Carrie Avatar

Gorgeous! I’m obsessed w/ their eye shadows and eye liners, and this looks like the most sophisticated eye palette they’ve released so far.

Valentine Avatar

I LOVE neutrals and especially bronzy, golden browns, so I’ll definitely seek this out in person. Since many of the shades are similar, I kinda wish they’d cut the pallet in half and sold it for half the price. I do have a quick question though–Can you please tell me about how big the pallet is? As in, how many inches lengthwise?

Jula Avatar

This is a must have for me. But do you think that some of the colors are similar to MAC, like Woodwinked, All that Glitters, etc.? Because I have also been wanting to get a MAC pro palette with a lot of the popular neutral shades, but I don’t want to get two palettes with the same thing, you know? Any advice?

Rissy Avatar

If I have those colors from mac already, would you still suggest getting this pallete? I do love UD but do need to save some money too. :/

Li Ming Avatar

Ahh…I have almost all those MAC e/s dupes for this palette…only missing 3.
I like the packaging and convenience of this palette but I feel like I should not haul anymore…and actually I have never tried UD e/s…their cult favourite 24/7 liners don’t work for me. Love their UDPP though.
I am semi-glad that it is permanent…but also semi-terrified that it is. Don’t know if I can hold off from caving… :s
But I like how you point out (hence A+) that this palette is very versatile for neutral looks.

Li Ming Avatar

I caved…I bought it. The Sephora sales associates had not heard it being permanent in Canada. Man, I wish some of them were more knowledgeable in this sense. Still don’t know if Canada Sephora locations will carry Bobbi Brown like the US locations. Argh.

LNU Avatar

The palettes colors don’t particularly strike me, but I’m really excited they released five new shades, that all of them contain no glitter, they released a new brown liner with no glitter (thank god), and that the packaging is SO cute and simple!

Angela0804 Avatar

This is a nice palette. I have 3 of the UD colors but this would be a great overnight/travel palette. I may just pick it up.

Isheeta Avatar

Wow this is a gorgeous palette! I have UD Deluxe shadow box.. I love UD shadow texture! The best thing is that I don’t have any of the shadows in this new box!

Laura Avatar

An irresistible palette ! It’s really not so expensive, 12 colors + 1 double-eyeliner, for only $44. Will definitely buy it when the chance comes !! So pretty colors…

SiaM Avatar

All the colors look super great, Can’t have enough neutrals and the other shimmery colors look just awesome to complete a look =) This one is definitely worth it!!!

Lizz M. Avatar

You know, I’ve never really had the urge to buy an Urban Decay palette (with the exception of the Alice palette, but I bought that for my sis’s birthday – dual use, haha) but this I may have to get. I love the idea behind it and the fact thier amping it up with the new shades and some mattes… a person can only take so much shimmer, ha.

And seriously, that packaging is so sleek! Yup, going on the wish-list now.

Rachel Avatar

Does this mean no Book of Shadows Vol. 3? Only gripe I have for this palette is ANOTHER zero eyeliner. Ugh, I have at least ten small zero pencils that I never use. I wish they’d have included Crash, Oil Slick or Stash instead. [/end rant] I will still buy this 🙂

Christine Avatar

No, it just means it’s not coming out yet 🙂 I have heard we’re looking at more like a September launch — and that’s probably on UD.com, so not yet.

At least they also give you a new one! Better than just Zero, LOL. I think they need to do ZeroMinus. Super black!

Kelly C. Avatar

Oh man, I’ve been jonesing so hard for a neutral eyeshadow palatte. Thank you, Urban Decay! I will fight to get this one : D

Violet Avatar

This is a must-buy for me! I am a huge fan of Urban Decay’s eyeshadows – I have about 30 of them – but it just so happens that *none* of these are already in my stash. The only thing I wish were different is that I’d like to see Corrupt eyeliner from last year’s holiday collection back… but I still want this for the shadows!

xMissxAndristx Avatar

Last year they released 4 exclusive eyeliners as permanents… then this spring we got Eldorado switched from exclusive to permanent. so maybe if we cross our fingers we’ll get whiskey and corrupt as permantents.

Emma Avatar

OHMYGODNESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! This palette looks amazinggggggg! I need to order it the SECOND it comes out! June 29th! That’s actually the same day I get my braces of hahahaha. It’s gonna be a great day!

Michelle Avatar

Heya Christine,

Great review as always! Loooove the colors on this palette, i’m so excited! Being I earn point in Sephora and on thru UD, I think I’m gonna have to wait and get this from Sephora. One thing though, do you think they will run out of this fast? I don’t want this to be like the mac to the beach collection nightmare. 😛

Bernice Avatar

Christine! I can’t help but keep coming back to this post! I can’t stop gawking over the gorgeous colours! Neutrals have never looked so good! I completely agree with you that it is a steal at $44 USD but it won’t be such a great deal if my Canadian Sephoras have it because even when an Urban Decay palette is $36 USD it’s $47 CDN (before our 12% taxes) and this costs more.. nd I’m dreading the price a little 🙁 Just a little annoyed becos our dollars are almost at par with each other 🙁

But that won’t stop me from coming back to this post 😛
Thanks again Christine for the fab swatches 😀

Christine Avatar

Aww! So glad it’s caught your eye, though. Though it’s not entirely comforting, I presume that the singles cost more in CDN, too, so it’s still a good value. I have no idea what logic or reasoning goes on for the way brands price themselves in different countries. I wonder if they have to pay higher taxes, importation costs, etc. that somehow justifies it. No clue, though.

angelicbb Avatar

THIS LOOKS AMAZING<3
Amazing swatches as usual and I think I will have to crash and get this from sephora 🙂
Do you know if this is limited edition?? I hope not :/

Wendy M. Avatar

Sweet baby Jesus.
I MUST have this!
This will be my first purchase from UD and this palette looks gorgeous AND promising! 😀

gemin Avatar

Are you kidding me with this palette!? I need this with all my heart. All of it. When does this come out!?? FALL! Too far away! I agree Thank God no Midnight Cowboy Rides Anywhere!

amy Avatar

These are gorgeous. I love how sophisticated and classy these colours are together. It is very different in comparison to most of the other U/D palettes that are very funky and colourful.

Lisa Avatar

I’m kind of bummed that I just got the summer of love palate two days ago, I’m not loving the glitter fall out from 2/4 shadows + random purple shadow, haha, I wish I had waited for this! I think I’ll get it anyways though, you can never have too much makeup…

Rosie Avatar

Haha I showed my friend this post at dinner tonight and we were totally lusting over it together. Thanks for reporting it’s permanent though, now I can take a breather and wait until a F&F to get it 30% off!

NIKKI Avatar

so looking forward to getting this!
i love my neutrals but sometimes i want something extra and more sultry and smoky
perfect palette!

kirayna Avatar

Looks like my ideal neutral palette, this would be great for travelling, definitely getting one when it’s available in the UK

ee Avatar

do you think i should get this or mac all that glitters and woodwinked e/s as well as a coastal scents dupe for femmi fi e/s? im torn haha

Diega Avatar

wOW! I think the last time I saw an A+ on Temptalia is the Barbie loves Stila All Doll’d up Palette, which I bought because of Temptalia and absolutely loved!

sophie Avatar

Urban decay must really think people are stupid.
Urban Decay: “Hey lets just keep making palettes with different covers but the same color eyeshadows only difference is we will rename them the idiots won’t even know the difference!.”

Marina Avatar

I’m drooling haha! I love this…My first UD purchase was their PP, and I’ve progressed from that. I typically like their more bold colors, but I’m totally feeling the neutral look for summer and fall! I’m saving for this now, because I only own one of the colors (Sin) and it is an amazing deal. Glad it is permanent!
Thanks for the review and swatches!

Stephanie Avatar

I’ve always been more of a neutrals person, so this is the perfect palette for me! Especially since I don’t own any UD shadows yet 🙂

I hope you don’t mind that I’m using pictures from this post and your lip junkie post! I’ve linked back, of course 🙂

PJ Avatar

Despite the fact I currently have 3 Zero liners floating around, this is such a good value and I must have it!! “I need you tonight…(UD Naked palette) cause I’m not sleeping….”

Dianna Avatar

Though I have played with Urban Decay shadows in the past, I’ve never felt compelled to purchase a palette (I’m not a big fan of frosty shadows). This is the first UD palette that I actually REALLY REALLY want! Can’t wait til it comes out! What an amazing value! I just looove me some neutrals.

Lauren Avatar

I’m so excited! I love UD for it’s crazy colors but this is such a nice change. I’m getting this ASAP! I travel a lot because my boyfriend recently moved 2 hours away for work and I can see myself throwing this in my makeup bag with a blush, mascara, and foundation and being set for a weekend visit. I’m ecstatic!

Bobbie C. Avatar

Christine, I hope this is not asking to much but do you think you could tell what colors these shadows compare to in MAC. If I buy this palette I don’t want to get MAC Colors as well that I could use this palette.

Nana Avatar

I want this Naked Palette but the there is this warm 88 palette that is half the price. What is a girl to do! decisions, decisions

Nomie Avatar

Oh mans, this is the neutral palette I’ve been jonesing for. As much as I love the blues and purples and sparkles, they don’t always fly at my workplace. This is a definite must-have!

Katie Avatar

I just bought this yesterday on the Urban Decay website and it’s already sold out! Can’t wait to get it…I hate buying neutrals full price because they can be so blah sometimes, so it’s nice to have such a gorgeous value set.

jennifer Avatar

has it sold out already at sephora website? or will it be available on aug 1st? does anyone know….has anyone bought it from sephora yet???

Lois Avatar

OMGG looks gorgeous! I saw it yesterday through the e-mail when it was still available on the UD website…and then I waited too long and it was sold out :/. Do you know if it’ll be “limited-edition” for the time being? As in, until August 1st, it won’t be available again on the UD website?

Caitlin Avatar

This is so amazingly pretty! Do you know if this is limited edition or permanant? I really want the BOS3 too but I don’t want to spend a ton of money of UD in such a short amount of time. I think I’ll wait for the F&F sale. 🙂
So anyway… does anyone know if this is permanant?
Thanks!

Heather Avatar

I am in love with this palette and I don’t even have it yet! Ahhh and UD sold out of it Wednesday or Thursday I believe. But.. the good thing is I actually think a lot of these shades have multiple purposes besides eyeshadow. Some could be used as eyeliner, as blush (depending on about of shimmer) and as highlighters on other parts of your face (mainly Virgin – or Sin, if you’re darker complected). =)

Heather Avatar

I forgot to mention that, in some cases, the matte shadows could also be used as contouring powders, or even the shimmery ones that aren’t blue if you don’t mind the shimmers =).

Christine B. Avatar

Well, it was for me but now it says not in stock so I assume there was glitch and they are still waiting to get it in stock. I’ll just have to keep waiting.

sillylilacs Avatar

*jaw drops* out of stock!?! =( I’m so sad…despite the fact that I know its permanent and it should be back in stock soon lol

Thank you for the pretty pictures! =) The palette is gorgeous!

Petra Avatar

Christine, do You happen to know when and where will the Naked palette be available internationally?
I’m sure I can’t buy it anywhere in Hungary, but maybe in Austria, or the Netherlands (which I’ll be visiting this August)?
Any European readers info is appreciated. 🙂

Ana G. Avatar

Hi Petra, I bought mine from Beautybay website. I live in Portugal and they deliver here. They might also deliver in Hungary!!!:-)Don’t forget to click on beautybays’ Temptalia banner to help support the website 😉

Umm Amirah Avatar

ok…WHY did I miss this post!! I <3 neutral paletts…even as a brown girl. because I believe a good one will help with ALL looks. I have Book of Shaddows II. I love that.
I'm going to have to save to 'gift' this to myself!!
Thanks for the great swatches.

claudia Avatar

I am also so glad to see that MCRA is not in this palette! This is one that I am definitely going to pick up. I love how you tell us which ones we’ve seen before, and which ones are new–it really helps! I love Urban Decay and I have quite a few palettes, but I can never remember which shades are in which one w/o looking at the actual palette, so thank you for being so thorough in your reviews!

Melissa Avatar

Christine – I believe you could get a job as a photographer – these are great pictures. Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate them.

Jessie Avatar

Is there fallout with this palette?
Because last time I was always using my alice in wonderland palette and ended up with glitter all over my face. My friends started calling me “vampire” because my face “sparkled” I really love neutrals but if thats going to happen again, its not worth it to me.

Michelle Avatar

I just got this palette in the mail today and I was looking at the color Toasted. I have this shadow from the permanent line and it looks much more plum in the palette. I swatched them today on my hand and they just don’t look like the same color.
Am I the only one that thinks this?

Steph Avatar

i went to my Sephora a week ago, and they did not have them yet, but had a waiting list started. They called me today so I’m going to get my palette tomorrow!! Yaaaaaaaay!

Mirna Avatar

Wow, I thought I was going to miss out on this palete (since so many already have it) but it hasn’t even come out yet! lol I am relieved!

Caroline Avatar

Love this! Great information! I really, really want to buy this, but unfortunately neither Urban Decay nor Sephora ship to Sweden. Do you know of any website which will actually ship to European countries?

Laura Avatar

Check out hqhair.com and lookfantastic.com they stock UD and ship internationally. As this is permanent, I’m sure they will stock it when it releases in UK.

Zong Avatar

this is so weird cause i went to got mines yesterday at sephora and instead of buck i got another half baked e/s so i got two half baked in the same palette, i’m gonna go back and exchange it. you guys should be careful, make sure you look at the palette carefully, you might get the same color! good luck!

Clara Avatar

I have been eyeing the UD eyeshadows for quite some time now but I’m so glad i waited because this pallette looks unbelievable! the only problem is the cost… i know it’s a great deal but my wallet will still be sobbing when i head over to sephora this week!

annoymous Avatar

personally i believe that this palette is great value for money, 12 shadows for £30 is unbelievable when you see the quality of this product and a brush/double ended eye pencil and primer potion is thrown in with all of that! :O

Enna Avatar

I almost passed this palette up thinking it was boring. I’m so so glad that I took a closer look. The colors are really nice and go well together. They will be a nice addition to my urban decay collection. I have a feeling that this palette is going to be one of my favorites because it has so many neutral or more subdoed colors that can be worn to work. When I went to the store to get it they were sold out and I was having a hard time finding it anywhere. Ulta just got it in stock today and by the time I got to the store there were only three left! I picked up one for me and one for my daughter.

natalie Avatar

just got mine today 🙂
so excited,i called ahead to ulta to see if they had some in stock and they did.when i got there they still had like 8 left.im so happy i got it,it was a great purchase

Hannah Avatar

Definitely will be snapping this up.
I love UD, but only every buy palettes because they’re just better value for money.
Looking forward to this hitting the UK.

Nikki Avatar

just bought mine today from ulta!
so excited!
i was surprised they still had them in stock because sephora has been sold out and so has urbandecay.com

Leah Avatar

I purchased this palette the other day during the grand opening of my city’s only Sephora (which conveniently opened up in the mall directly across from the store I work in). Holy smokes! This certainly deserves an A-plus rating. I want to buy a dozen backups so that I never have to be without a Naked palette ever again.

Des Falco Avatar

OMG! I absolutely love neutral colors. When I came across this palette I just had to have it. I tried purchasing it on Urbandecay.com and Sephora.com and I called numerous stores just to be told it is SOLD OUT and will not be in stock till mid September or early October. I was finally able to find it at Ulta…. So if anyone is interested you may have luck finding it there.

Mia Avatar

LOVE this palette but WHOA the sparkle fall out of ‘Sidecar’ is Crazy! any tips on how to tone it down and or make it stick better than with udpp – geesh

Melanie Avatar

I simply can’t get my hands on a Naked Palette here in Germany. And on ebay the prices are ridiculous.
Can you tell me Mac eyeshadow dupes for each of the Naked Palette eyeshadows?

Eloisa Silva Avatar

I bought this palette this weekend. It was the last one in my city (San Antonio). I used it right away and I love it! I have always used MAC but Urban Decay is definitely a better product! The shadows glide on so easily and it literally took me just 5 minutes for total eye application. The primer, eye pencil, the shadows… all PERFECT!

I absolutely love it!

Naturebronze Avatar

neutral eyeshadow from urban decay – this is what everyone has been waiting for! do you have any ideas for a sort of “golden girl” look – i was thinking of using the mattes, half baked, smog, and darkhorse. I also debated sin and virgin as highlights/light spots. What do you think?

Nikki M Avatar

Help! I’ve fallen in love with Urban Decay’s Buck eyeshadow from their new Naked palette. It’s the perfect medium brown. Any suggestions for a good dupe? Especially one that doesn’t turn too taupe. Thanks!

Denise Avatar

I ordered it right now. I am so excited :D! Hopefully it will be as good as everyone is saying. It´s my first product from UD and I think this is a really good deal, because I wanted to try the 24/7 and the primer potion earlier, but I was too avaricious ;). Now I have all in one!

Jennifer Avatar

This palette seems so neat! I can’t wait until it comes back to the stores! Do you think you could do a page with your top rated products ever? It would be so great to see your beauty must-haves, all of the ones with A’s!

Elisabeth Avatar

this is urban decay’s most successful palette, and i really really hope UD realizes why this product is so appealing! Its not just the neutral colors that are more ‘wearable’, but like you said Christine, it is a classy and sexy looking palette. sometimes their product packaging gets too youthful and whimsical with the pop-ups and the LED lights and the pocket rocket gloss with naked guys on it. it makes me embarrassed to own it, and i’m only 28!!! but this is one palette that is just… luxurious. it is their most chic and sexiest product ever and i really hope they keep producing more sophisticated looking products.

Helenita Avatar

Hi Christine! I want to know if u know if this palette will be AVAILABLE IN STORES ON DECEMBER? I will be traveling to the U.S. and I would like to know? Please let me know 🙂 Big hugs!!

Ella Avatar

I’ve been waiting to get this palette since August, and I just got an email from Urban Decay saying they have some in stock! I was beginning to lose faith that signing up for an email notification would have any effect, but they followed through! I had been kicking myself for not getting this when I first saw it at Ulta, because there were TONS and I figured I could come back and get it next week…wrong move. Anyways I should be getting mine in the next couple of weeks and I’m super excited to give it a try!

Linda Avatar

Believe it or not, I just received mine from UD. UD has a limited supply of this palette and I was able to get in on one. I can’t wait to try these gorgeous colors.

Ahra Avatar

Oh gosh, this palette was available for a few hours today on Sephora.com. But it’s out of stock again. When will it be available? I really hope that will be soon…

Charlotte Avatar

I ordered mine last Tuesday January fourth and I have not yet received an email that it has shipped even though it was only supposed to be 1to 2 days. Does this mean i won’t get one even though I ordered it?? 🙁

Naomi Avatar

Yeah I got the email too… I can’t decide if I should splurge on eBay and get one with the eyeliners or wait and get the ones with the brush. Any thoughts? I do have another zero eyeliner and a brown eyeliner (by KATE, kanebo)… can’t decide what I need more!!!!!

Any tips would help, Thanks in advance!

Malu Avatar

Finally, got the email today and went ahead and picked me up one. I believe the UD website is still selling them with the double sided eyeliner. Can’t wait to get it.

Nicole Avatar

I am a medium dark complexion and I absolutely LOVE how these colors show and blend so smoothly together. To date this is thee best palette I own.

Laura Avatar

Christine-
If you have all the BOS, do you think this is still a must have palette? The colors are beautiful but I don’t know if it’s a must…even though I feel the NEED to collect all their books of shadows

Ana Avatar

Hi. I’m not sure if I should post this here, but Sephora has the Naked Palette in stock as of April 23 at 12:18 pm PDT. I just ordered mine (finally!).

Happy shopping!

Ana Avatar

I suppose that I should clarify, because when I mentioned the return of the Naked palette to Sephora, one of my American friends didn’t see the importance because the palette had been available to order from the UD site for a while. For your Canadian readers who cannot order from the UD website, however, the Sephora website is our only option for obtaining the Naked Palette domestically. Thanks.

annoymous Avatar

i think this is an amazing products the colours are all very natural and easy to apply. i am only 14 and found good use of it even though i am not a big eyeshadow wearer but the subtle shades make this palette completely wearable on a day to day basis i would recommend this palette to anybody over the age of around 13 I would say. i was a little dubious as to how much i would wear this but find myself turning toward it more and more often it is a GREAT eyeshadow palette for all year round…

Melene Avatar

I have this palette for a while but every time I see it, I fall in lover all over again. I wanted it so much that I was willing to pay 60€, which is 88$. It’s twice as much, but it was totally worth it <3

Pamrita Avatar

Urban Decay is one of the best and one of my favourite make up brands. My boyfriend has bought me this naked palette for my birthday and i can’t wait to use it!!!. The colours are great and that’s why I chose it as browns and neutrals are amazingly beautiful to wear everyday. That’s another palette added to my urban decay collection!

Melanie Avatar

I was reading your post about some of the colors being in the permanent line, but I can’t seem to find the colors “naked” and “sin” on Urban Decay’s website. I found colors like “gunmetal” and “toasted” but not the two I listed before. I have this palette and I LOVE it but I am quickly running out of my favorite colors in the bunch and would love to know where I can replace/refill them. Thanks!

Melanie Avatar

Ok, so I looked again online and I DID find “sin” but still cannot find “naked” I’m sorry I didn’t look thoroughly enough before I posted earlier but I’d still love to find the “naked” color. Thanks again!

Melissa Wagner Avatar

Oh my lord, I just bought this today after fawning over it for months. I am truly amazed. The colors are extremely pigmented and they all go perfectly together. There are only 2 colors that were 5% short of perfect and they were Naked, because it’s almost invisible on my skin, and Creep, because it’s not as true black as I’d like it to be. Otherwise, extremely customer friendly and extremely long lasting. I even took a bath with these shadows and smudged them under the water! When I got out, my eyes looked as fab as they did before.

LipstickUtopia Avatar

I just got this one now it was always sold out here in Ireland but they had the 15th anniversary one now too, so that’s next on my review list. I have to say I love the colours. They are so wearable, with my other UD palettes I tend to use the same ones over again. Not with this one! Love it!

Lily Avatar

Hmm… I didn’t get eyeliners, I got a brush instead when I got it at ulta. I prefer the oil slick versus creep, but it works to darken any of the shades. I always get great compliments from the business women I serve because it works well during the day, it’s not dramatic, but you can definitely push it to be so.

I came on your site to see the colors in the alic palette I didn’t get to snatch because in two days ulta ran out! But I’m definitely bookmarking you.

Kristy Avatar

Hi Christine, could you recommend a dupe for Virgin? I REALLY like how it makes me look more awake but it doesn’t look obviously frosty/eyeshadow-y (lol hope that makes sense)

Bettina Avatar

Ok I wasn’t always one for neutrals but I fell in love with this palette. I kept stealing it from a friend of mine and finally decided I needed to just buy my own LOL. I guess it used to come with that Whiskey liner but now it seems to come with the UD eyeshadow primer and the good karma eyeshadow brush (also good for me since I love that brush and needed more primer. Tax refund checks are both good and evil and this would officially be my first big UD purchase, all my other palettes are MAC. 🙂

Maryann Avatar

Hi! I am sorry if this question was asked before, but could you recommend a good dupe for the Virgin color? I just bought Naked 2 and lost Naked 1 while traveling but did love it for the tear duct! Please let me know! Thanks so much!!

Maryann

Laura Avatar

Was whiskey and zero in the first batch of palettes because I only got what was on the UD website which was the brush and travel size primer. I was looking forward to whiskey.

Ashley Avatar

I’m trying to decide between ordering Palette 1 and 2. I love how for palette 2 you mentioned how those compare to MAC shades. Any way you could do the same for this one? I want to make sure I’m not doubling up on colors and getting the most for my money.

Thanks!

Alessia Avatar

PLEASE a dupe for NAKED eyeshadow?
I absolutely love this shadow but is almost finished and I can’t buy all the palette another time…
Can u hel me???

humijani7 Avatar

My mom bought me one off ebay for 30 dollars. She forgot to show me or tell me and surprised me with it months later. Turns out it wasn’t even real and I’m super bummed about it. Is it work it buying another (new) one for 50 dollars?
