This looks a lot better since we can see the entire pallette. Seriously considering this one!
One question: I’ve never really used mattes shades – do they work better in the crease?? Not totally sure how to use them.
Thanks, Christine for all of the TERRIFIC info! Your site has truly been helpful!! 🙂

Another thing… I’ve never bought UD shadow palettes (SHOCK GASP), can someone tell me if the circular pans are the same size as the MAC pans? I want to get the Vegan Palette, but I’m a chronic depotter and I simply have to know if they’ll fit in my other palettes. Thanks in advance!

kirayna Avatar

The circular pans from their normal pots fit exactly, the ones from these type of palettes are a bit smaller though so they’ll fit but there will be a gap around the edges of the pan

That’s what I thought. Why must they keep putting colors like Smog & Half Baked in so many palettes? I didn’t get the BoS II because I’d just gotten the Get Baked Palette. They have the 2 shadows for $19 on their site, 3 duos have Half Baked (of which I’d get the ones with Gash & Green Goddess, but won’t because I don’t need 3 Half Bakeds) & 2 have Mid. Cowboy (the one with Vert tempts me, but I have BoS already with Mid. Cowboy replacing the one in my old UD Face Case). Heck, even though I totally need a new Urb to replace the one in that Face Case, I won’t get this Vegan Palette, because I don’t need other duplicate colors.

I love UD and try to be loyal, but I have to scrimp & save to get their stuff and I can’t afford getting the same colors over and over, because it’s just not worth it & is pointless. So sad. 🙁

However, I am curious to see how much the new Lip Junkies are like UD’s Lip Gunks, which are my favorite lip glosses ever. UD, why do you taunt me so? 😉

Are some of those lipgloss shades the same as the XXX formula they used to sell? If so, I’m definitely getting the Naked one, it was my favourite lipgloss! 🙂 Any ideas when they’ll be coming to the UK?

Tanya Avatar

Noooooooooo! They’re plumpers! Oh, why oh why! I hate lip plumpers, I feel like a fish when I use them (because I don’t need a plumper). Darn oh darn. I’ll wait for your review. Maybe they don’t plump too much!

Thanks for the awesome info and photos, Christine!

Do you happen to know if any of the new lip glosses are vegan (including carmine-free)?

Thanks!

Christine Avatar

I really don’t know – UD sent them, but nothing came with boxes (like the outer packaging) so I don’t have ingredient lists 🙁 They should be up on UD’s website on Tuesday, though, and I believe they indicate what’s vegan and what’s not!

GL Avatar

Will UD ever come up with a new concept? It’s as if their branding people are being forced to re-use the same colors over and over and over. Simply look at their “look” history. Grow up UD and create new and exciting true colors instead of wasting our money.

Rosie Avatar

They’re not wasting my money. I don’t buy things unless it’s worth it economically. If you chose to buy and find it a waste, that’s your prerogative. I do however think they are losing money and customers by not putting out new colors in each palette.

cmferret Avatar

i wish they had the packaging from this vegan e/s palette for the other e/s palette that came out this suummer , thathad 3 new e/s but it had a bunch of funky cartoonish girls on it .
i think ill only get the naked palete b.c it has some new e/s in it and the vegan palette just has perm ones i have in the other past e/s palettes theve come out with.

Mia Avatar

I want that vegan palette so bad! 🙁 is there any way to order it from Europe? If anyones got an idea please please let me know!
