We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

These are all really super gorgeous; especially the Guerlain, but I do prefer a more matte less luminous finish for red. I find they do not migrate as much. I have this issue with my bottom lip which curls under a fair bit and I end up with these not so attractive lipstick smears smack dab on the top of my chin bone when I eat. Grrrr.

Oh wow! Buxom Scoundrel is gorgeous! Ok, I have never even checked those out before. These are one of those hidden gems aren’t they? Thank you Christine!

The only one here that I own is Maybelline On Fire Red, which when viewed along with all 5 lippy swatches, doesn’t look any different in terms of pigmentation or luminosity than any of the others, with ONLY one exception: Guerlain G Greta! Greta looks AMAZING! Well worth its $55, it would seem. So, when my Maria Moretti and On Fire Red are all gone….Greta!

I have Greta and do wear it in Fall and Winter. I am on the fence with mattes and luminous formulas. I like to blot out a luminous , put on more, blot, etc. Old school. I’m not young anymore. Have they discontinued Gracy? I bought one on Overstock and the color was a little different but not too much.

Noooooooooooooo! Wish I hadn’t seen this. Guerlain Rouge G Greta was calling to me but sadly appears to be sold out everywhere. (I tried Sephora, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Bergdoff’s, and Saks) πŸ™

It is such a proud moment to see and say that I own every single shade listed here …. which means even I love me some cool toned RED’s ….
not some but all πŸ˜€ : D
And if talking about the formula .. my fav is Estee Lauder , Buxom and Urban Decay … super duper crazy about them.
I would like to add TOM FORD CHERRY LUSH Lipstick πŸ™‚ pure gorgeousness

Guerlain Greta isn’t being sold anymore. πŸ™ I was just about to buy it but I can’t find it anywhere. Nordstrom, Saks, Bergdorf Goodman… no one is selling Greta or Gala anymore. Garconne is the only available red. They aren’t even on the Guerlain website!

Beautiful! And I don’t have any of them. Maybe I don’t go for the luminousity in lipsticks. I must swatch all of my reds now, well. I’ll wait until morning, to see if I have anything luminous.
