Yep … got myself some Hallucinogenius; I think it’ll give a real kick to my occasional very subtle looks.
Skin Tone/Coloring: Light neutral skin tone, green eyes, salt & pepper hair
Favorite Look: I received a lot of compliments on how green my eyes are when I was wearing this look. EYES: Bare Minerals Bare Sensuals Palette (Lure in crease, Hot Spell on lid, Mystery on outer V, Hard to Get on Brow Bone), Dior Brow Styler, Clinique Brow Shaper, Cover Girl Clump Crusher Mascara. FACE: Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder, Clinique Berry Pop Blush. LIPS: NARS Velvet Lip Glide in Cartagena.
Most Used Products: The everyday usuals (Dior Brow Styler, Clinique Brow Shaper, Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Tarte Shape Tape Concealer)
New Beauty Discoveries: None this week.
?? ???? ????/????????: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
???????? ???? ??? ????: EYES — UDPP in Enigma. UD Feelz (crease), UD Devilish (true crease); UD Drunk Dial smuged over UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Love Drug (lower lashline, Apocalyptic Beauty Bluster (eyelids), ABH HL in Pink Hearts (brow bone). Pacifica Dream Big Mascara (top lashes); Hard Candy Stroke of Gorgeous Colored Mascara in Daredevil (lower lashes; outer corners of top lashes). UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Perversion (upper and lower waterlines). BROWS — ABH e/s single in Love Letter. LIPS — UD Vice LIpstick in Cherry (LOVE!!!). CHEEKS — e.l.f. Blush in Berry Merry. FACE — NYX Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer; BH Cosmetics Naturally Flawless Foundation in Ivory; e.l.f. HD Powder; ABH HL in Pink Hearts; Sephora Tranquil (contour); Medusa’s Makeup Setting Spray.
???? ???? ??????? ?? ??? ????: Coconut Probiotic Water Rehab Cream; lip balms. Most of the week I didn’t wear any makeup. I was too tired. lol
??? ??? ?????? ???????????: Covergirl is now Leaping Bunny certified cruelty free. Yay! Let’s hope more brands follow their example.
Vice Lipstick in Cherry just may be the perfect burgundy on me. It makes my lips look really full and the color is perfection.
My skin tone/coloring: Next to my name! (blue-green eyes)
Favorite look you wore: Yesterday, I dipped into Huda New Nude Palette, and WOW! Eyes: browbone Bare, transition Lace, crease Tease, outer V Love Bite, inner 2/3 of mobile lid Daydream, outer 1/3 lid Fantasy, smoked out Lace, Tease and Kinky on lower lashline, used Smashbox Opal Rose on inner tearducts, UD 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil in Alkaline to line lower lashline, my usual black liners and mascara. Cheeks: Nyx Taupe Blush, UD Rapture Afterglow Blush and CP Angel Food highlighter. Lips: Nyx Prune and MAC x Aaliyah Nevermore lip pencil (and I should have stopped right there, and only add gloss, but no) and UD Troublemaker Vice Lipstick. Everything looked great until I applied the lipstick. Apparently, it hardened a bit, so it went on all funky. Even with that lip gaffe, my eye look more than made up for it!
Most used product of the week: Skincare? Haven’t been feeling so hot. Have had a pesky migraine for over 3 days now.
Any new beauty discoveries: Nothing noteworthy!
I hope your migraine gets better. My mom and I have had one too. They suck!
Thanks, Brenda! Hopefully, you and your mom get relief from yours soon, too. Tbh, I don’t even know what triggered mine.
That’s worse when you don’t know the trigger. My Mom hasn’t had one for a long time so that worries me. Our weather here is going crazy so that’s why mine is going on so long. I had my doc do a nerve block on Tuesday, it worked for a few hours, that was a nice break lol! I honestly do better when our weather gets cold and stays that way for a while. It’s the chinooks that kill me. We are looking at moving to the west coast, sea level seems to work really good for my head. My husband will have to move his business out there so it won’t be a simple move, plus it’s way more expensive out there. It might be a while before we find a place we can afford. Take care of your head.
Nancy, I hope your migraine resolves soon and that you feel better. I get migraines all the time so I feel for you. I’ve found that any large fluctuation in the barometric pressure, up or down, can/will cause me to get one…and where I live that’s pretty much always. I told my husband that we were going to have to move. The BP in Dubai is the most consistent, lol…he didn’t buy it. Feel better soon.
I hope your migraines end soon as Nancy – they are not much fun at all.
My skin tone/coloring: Light medium, yellow undertones. Dark brown hair & eyes.
Favorite look you wore: I wore bugger all makeup this week so it was pretty much just slap and go, can’t say I didn’t anything outstanding or memorable…
Most used product of the week: Concealer, LOL.
Any new beauty discoveries: The new little 12 pan Colourpop empty palettes are adorable and I find it easier to pick and choose coordinating shades to fill these then the 24+ pans ones I have from Morphe and Z – I hope they bring out different colours/patterns soon!
My skin tone/coloring: Fair neutral but prefer cool tones
Favorite look you wore: This made it through Thanksigiving dinner and a seven hour shift at bath and bodyworks! I used my Lancome Teinte Idole & Nars soft matte. I set with Laura Mercier. Brows were gimme brows, eyes had Anastasia Birkin & DOC Desi x Katy Dirty money on the lid. On my face I used the Hourglass Ambient Unlocked palette (a gift to myself for grad school) on my face. I mixed the two blushes on my face, which was nice. I put my Marc Jacobs tantastic down and put the bronzer from Hourglass on top of it. Lips I started out with NARS American Woman, then ended up with Dior Lip Glow throughout my shift.
Most used product of the week: Hourglass Unlocked (unsure if I love it as much as everyone else)
Any new beauty discoveries: Hourglass unlocked and NARS Climax. Surprised I like Climax more than I liked Hourglass Caution. Hourglass products I guess aren’t as big of a hit as I wanted it to be.
My skin tone/coloring: light, MAC NC 15-20, med brown hair and eyes
Favorite look you wore: I have really enjoyed the little mini Natasha Denona Sunset Palette. I don’t know how it compares to the original and don’t care. I like it as an easy to use, everyday eyeshadow palette. I wear MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Soft Ochre as eyeshadow primer. Put guava (the matte caramel shade? ) in the crease. Deepened it with Dirty Mars. Put Sunbeam on the eyelid. Wore Cargo Swimmables Eyeliner in Pebble Beach on top lashline. Wore Tarte Lights, Camera and Lashes Mascara. MAC Extra Dimension Blush in Bareness. No lip product other than lip balm bc I was at work
Most used product of the week: MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation. Tarte Lights, Camera and Lashes Mascara. Cargo Swimmables Eyeliner in Pebble Beach. MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Soft Ochre. MAC Extra Dimension Blush in Bareness. MAC Brow Pencil in Fling. NYX Control Freak Brow Gel. Palladio Rice Pressed Powder in light. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal. Loreal True Match Concealer.
Any new beauty discoveries: I have enjoyed Becca Highlighter in Prosecco Pop. I picked it up at the CCO and just got around to trying it. It’s more of a blush topper on me but I like it!
My skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Favourite look you wore: There hasn’t been one favourite look this week since Tuesday – but every single day I have been using a few different shades of the Sultry palette. So far I have loved them all and complemented with the Colour Pop Brown sugar lipsticks and Gallop.
Most used product of the week: Anastasia Sultry palette.
Any new beauty discoveries: I love the new Melt Cosmetics Smoke Sessions palette, that I have just seen and I hope that, maybe, you can review this beauty Christine.
Skin tone: Very pale with neutral undertones.
Favorite look: It was a very simple look. I took a gold fluid liner from Etude House and actually painted my whole mobile lid with the liner and then before it could dry down I tapped MAC Shiny Pretty Things shadow in Joy To over the liner. I used a white gold pigment in the inner corner, blended out the crease with MAC Wedge and used Shiseido Brown Eye Liner to tightline and then smudged it up into the lash line. I used Cover Girl Super Sizer mascara in black and for blush I used Chantecaille Butterfly Reserve. Finally for lipstick I used Coringco in shade 03 which is a pink with a white highlighter around the perimeter. I concentrated my brush in the white part for my highlighter and then swished over all of the surface for my blush. I also added the butterfly blush above.
Most used products: MAC Wedge, Tom Ford Chadwick, Chantecaille blush in the limited edition Butterfly Reserve packaging.
New beauty discoveries: LIsa Eldridge LIpstick launch. Need I say more!!!
My skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite look you wore: probably “same old/same old” type look – MAC Sweet Satisfaction on the mobile lid, Cork in the crease, Sephora Cappuccino to line. MAC Sweet Sentiment blush over bare skin powdered with a Milani pressed “mosaic” type powder from ages ago to give me a bit of colour and UD Love Drunk on lips (I hate that lippie and ended up removing it and replacing with Rapture)
Most used product of the week: Estee Edit Treat+Prep+Glow (or whatever it’s called), UDPP and MAC Sweet Satisfaction
Any new beauty discoveries: Embryolisse eye cream and Nuxe Prodigieuse cream (love it but wish it came in a larger tube or pump type bottle)
