Bite Beauty Sagittarius Amuse Bouche Lipstick Review & Swatches
Sagittarius
Bite Beauty Sagittarius Amuse Bouche Lipstick ($26.00 for 0.15 oz.) is an electrifying, neon pink with strong, cool blue undertones and a cream finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation with a smooth, creamy consistency that had a touch of tackiness that helped keep it in place. The lipstick applied without dragging and deposited even color as it glided across my lips. There was a little bit of product that gathered in my deeper lip line, but it wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance. This shade stayed on well for over six hours and was hydrating over time.
This color launches on 11/23!

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick ($26.00 for 0.15 oz.) is supposed to have “bold, creamy color” with “extreme moisture, soft texture, and creamy wear.” The majority of the range is very pigmented–typically opaque with one pass–with a few shades being semi-opaque but usually buildable.
The consistency is very lightly creamy to lightly creamy with some shades requiring light-medium pressure and can pull the lip a bit when gliding it across the lips, though the color doesn’t appear ragged and the bullet itself doesn’t feel stiff (while other shades applied without tugging, so check individual shade reviews!) The majority of the shades I’ve tested have been lightly hydrating to non-drying and fairly comfortable to wear for the long-haul. They have a herbal, lemony scent but no discernible taste. They wear longer than average, from four to eight hours, depending on the intensity and propensity of the shade to stain.

That’s not the color I expected for Sagittarius. I was expecting a deep, aubergine type of shade. I’m not mad at it, but I won’t be buying it. I would really be interested to know how they determined the colors for each sign.
Dang! That’s so bright, it hurts my eyes! Such a purely neon, retina searing, almost comic book version of pink! ?
I was going to comment the same thing! It literally hurts my eyes! Haha!
I’m glad the quality is good, but this color is just not for me!! I wish it could have been something more universally flattering.
Neon pink! If I were a Sagittarius I’d be very upset ??? I expected a fiery, sparkly red or something.
Some of Bite’s astrology lipsticks nail it, and some are soooo outside the norm for certain signs. And I think I figured it out. They aren’t going by typical characteristics with some of these colors, they are going by celebrities (rather than the consultation with an astrologer that Bite claimed). For instance, Nicki Minaj is a Sagittarius. Kim Kardashian is a Libra. That’s my theory and I’m sticking to it. I’m glad I didn’t get this for my bestie (a Sag) before seeing it. She may have told me never to call her again lol. That said, if there are any Sag peeps (or anyone really) who digs this color, I hope you get it! 🙂
I hadn’t even thought of that but now that you’ve put the idea out there, I feel like it’s the only explanation.
Anxiously awaiting Capricorn. Anyone have any ideas what it will be?
The swatch is already on the site! I will be reviewing it closer to the release date.
I am waiting for Capricorn also but just looked at the site and it is a deep vampy looking plum colour. I think it probably suits the stereotype of a capricorn and depending on how we view ourselves it might suit nicely. It is a “winter” looking shade and I imagine can be patted on for a less intense look. Across history more world leaders, big businessmen and people who have changed history have been Capricorns, than any other sign. Elvis and I share a birthday which is better than the day before which was Nixon’s birthday, LOL!!
I love this so much! I’m all over such a vivid fuchsia, if I can snag it before it sales out.
I’m Scorp w Sag moon and I really like this shade. Pretty sure I could rock it.
To be honest, I love this colour and I am a Sagittarius! I think it does suit; confident, adventurous, and pretty blunt! I can’t afford it and will have customs added on top anyway as I’m in the UK, oh well.
Whoa! I needed to put my sunglasses on to view that one! Pretty color though.
Their Zodiac collection makes no sense to me as to how they chose the color representation of the signs.
I’m a Sagittarius and although this color doesn’t suit my skin tone (too cool-toned and Barbie pink), I DO think it fits Sagittarius in terms of being fun-loving, bold, adventurous, and not for the shy. This is a color for someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously and isn’t afraid to stand out.
Agree!
As a Sagittarius, I was super disappointed after waiting all year for this reveal. I’m not buying the full size but I did buy the set of minis. So I can try on this eye searing color. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. They can’t hit every release out of the park. Bite makes my favorite lip products so I’ll keep buying the shades I personally find more wearable.
I wish this color came out earlier in the year, when I was actually excited about this Limited Edition promotion. But I grew weary of it all after Taurus.
After already having Moscato, Palomino, Cotton Candy, Kimchi, and Pencil 094, I don’t think I really *need* this shade anyway… ?
