Too Faced Then & Now Eyeshadow Palette ($59.00 for 0.80 oz.) is a new, limited edition palette that celebrates the brand’s 20th anniversary by taking 10 of their original eyeshadows that have been brought back and then 10 new shades inspired by the original shades (“reimagined with a 2018 twist”). Here are swatches of all 22 shades (two pans are split!)…

Another really large palette is not something I need. Especially when I have been reading that this one is scented, too. As for the shades, I don’t actually see anything here that I don’t already have *somewhere* in my stash.

How did you get such a nice swatch on that dark blue? In store, it was super patchy glitter.

I wasn’t impressed at all in store, but your swatches seem better!

I actually thought I got a pair of rose colored glasses at night job…most of this looks pretty good. With the pinks, purples, and blues, you could get a lot more purple looks out of this than you could from Norvina. (I can’t believe my word predictor actually has Norvina!). Idk, gotta drag out way old tf; the only one I remember was ooh and aah. Well, at least it’s not dominated by neutrals…but it IS quintessential tf.

I really like the look of Gigi, I wonder if I have a dupe of it somewhere. Also, aren’t the split pans kind of inconvenient? I can’t imagine the light shades would remain uncontaminated for long.

I’m disappointed that some of my favourites from Too Faced’s past aren’t here – Glamazon, Label Wh*re, Velvet Revolver and quite a few others that used to be available as singles (and were also in palettes) and were simply really good shadows. I have the original Ooh and Aah and was never wild for it (just not my sorts of colours) and I think it’s the only “original” from this palette that I have.

I absolutely love how you can make every swatch look amazing but you don’t hide the areas that indicate that all is not well – it speaks to your skills and what you are trying to do in order to give your readers accurate information. Because of this, I realize that i have dupes of almost every single one of these in the singles and palettes that I already own. Thanks for helping confirm that this is going to be an easy pass for me!

It is far too bulky ang ugly packaging wise.If i was Jerrod, I would remove one of the blacks and 2 of the darm shimmery browns and make 20 small pans, like the size of the chocolate bar pans. The logo is cute this old fashioned way, but they definitely missed up on the design this time.

I’ve been following Too Faced for about 12 years, and I used to be a huge fan. But nothing in this collection is appealing to me at all. I wish they would have brought back some of their Quickie Chronicles. Those may not have been part of their original lineup but they were fun and had awesome packaging. I still have my collection, although I don’t use them anymore!

You’ve solved a mystery for me! I had so many of those when they first came out and I couldn’t remember what they were called or who made them. I loved them so much, I wish I knew what I did with them.

I am not overly impressed here but overall the palette looks like it will perform okay. The shades are lovely and very dupeable (a made up word I am sure!!), so not interested. I wonder if Jerrod is ever going to “grow up” and stop with the cutesy. It is time to think about their marketing strategy and their aesthetic. Yes, young women buy makeup and that appears to be the only demographic the brand is marketing towards. I am an older makeup lover and frankly, I didn’t have the money back in the day to purchase expensive makeup so I get that they want to keep the products geared towards young wearers but the money is in the older makeup junkies, IMHO.

Well, this is a pass. Villian, Gigi and Shady B.., are the only one that appeal to me and I’m sure can be duped (or even, I simple can live without). Ashame. REALLY like Boss Lady, and have never bought a Chocolate bar (even the real metallic one), and that’s fine.
