Too Faced Strobeberry Fruit Cocktail Blush Duo Review & Swatches
Strobeberry
Too Faced Strobeberry Fruit Cocktail Blush Duo ($30.00 for 0.22 oz.) is a new, permanent cheek duo that features a warm pink highlighter and a deeper pink blush. The two shades worked well together, applied evenly, blended out nicely, and lasted for eight and a half hours. The pigmentation was medium to semi-opaque, but the formula was billed at buildable, so it was more in line with expectations.

Strobeberry (Highlighter)
Strobeberry (Highlighter) is a medium pink with strong, warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic sheen. It had medium, buildable pigmentation (as described) with a soft, slightly dense consistency that was yielding and easy to pick up with a brush. The powder applied evenly to bare skin and blended out with little effort. It had a high-shine finish and slight, noticeable sparkle, so if you are someone who doesn’t like glitter, it likely won’t be a good fit. It was easy to layer over the coordinating blush as well. This shade stayed on well for eight and a half hours on me.

Formula Overview
-
The formula is supposed to have "buildable payoff" that has a "soft-touch, silky" texture. The pigmentation ranged from medium to mostly opaque, so some shades were truly buildable and others had to be used with a lighter hand (or less dense brush) to achieve sheerer, buildable coverage. The consistency was smooth but firmer in the pan, but with a typical highlighting brush and a medium hand, I didn't struggle to pick up product, so it was more in the vein of "not powdery" rather than stiff. The powders blended out easily, sat well on my skin, and lasted for eight to nine hours on me.

Strobeberry (Blush)
Strobeberry (Blush) is a medium pink with subtle, cool undertones and a soft, frosted sheen. The consistency was smooth to the touch but was more firmly-pressed (and a touch thin) so I was surprised that I didn’t actually struggle to pick up product with a typical blush brush and a moderate hand. The blush blended out effortlessly on my skin and had a luminous sheen that didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation–likely a bit more pigmented than anticipated based on the marketing claims–that lasted well for eight and a half hours on me.

Such fun colors and packaging!!! I want one but not a fan of the obvious glitter
Totally understand!
Thank goodness that the glitter doesn’t look as crazy applied to your cheeks as it appears to be based on the arm swatch! Phew! I’m hoping that the Cherry and/or Pomegranate work out just as well as this did.
Fingers crossed!!
Oh, this looks gorgeous! I don’t have anything like it. I love how it looks so glowy, & the 2 colors together.
It has a beautiful finish!
If these shades work for you, then this is an excellent product. I really like the finish too.
I agree, Genevieve! 😀
Oh! These Tutti Frutti beautiful things are making me go nutty crazy in love with the shades! I want it all! The eyeshadows are gorgeous too love, love the gold palette one with a green beautiful shade pineapple I think is called? Aww so pretty! Both! It will be my treat for Christmas ?! 😉
These are so pretty and would work well with my coloring. Not sure I need to add more to my collection though.
Pink always oxidizes on me and never looks on me how it looks here on you. The other two in the collection I think are too dark. Bummed?
