Tom Ford Heavenly Creature & The Perfect Kiss Lip Color Mattes Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Heavenly Creature
Tom Ford Beauty Heavenly Creature Lip Color Matte ($50.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a light-medium pink with warm, yellow undertones and a satin finish. The color payoff was nearly opaque in a single layer, but it was a struggle to apply it evenly. The consistency was a bit thicker and creamier compared to other shades, which had more of a velvety texture. The color pulled away at my lip lines, and there was significant settling over the four hours the shade lasted for. The formula did, however, feel lightly moisturizing over time.

Formula Overview
$55.00/0.1 oz. - $550.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "richly pigmented" and have a "luxurious, velvet matte finish." The majority of the shades are semi-opaque to fully opaque with lightweight, velvety textures--creamy enough to glide on nicely but not enough slip to feel slippery or slide around on the lips when worn. The wear time varied from shade to shade with richer shades lasting over six hours. The formula was comfortable to wear and often lightly hydrating. There's a vanilla scent but no discernible taste.

The Perfect Kiss
Tom Ford Beauty The Perfect Kiss Lip Color Matte ($50.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a bright, medium-dark pink-coral with subtle, warm undertones and a satin sheen. It had good pigmentation, and the color applied fairly evenly, but the issue I had was the texture. The lipstick had moderate slip, and the color seeped to pull away at my lip lines and some color settled into my deeper lip lines. It was not the most flattering lipstick to wear as it emphasized my lip lines overall. This shade lasted for five hours and was somewhat hydrating.

Love the color of The Perfect Kiss but am I the only one thinking that @ $50 a pop anything less than an A+ just isn’t worth it? ?
Too bad that the Perfect Kiss wasn’t so perfect after all. The shade itself is gorgeous, though!
Heavenly Creature also looks like a lovely shade, but apparently the application and the settling into lines are an issue. Probably way too light for me anyways.
Perfect Kiss is a winner.
