Tom Ford Gal & Cindy Boys & Girls Ultra-Rich Lip Colors Reviews & Swatches
Gal
Tom Ford Beauty Gal Boys & Girls Ultra-Rich Lip Color ($36.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a soft, medium pink with warm undertones and a cream finish. It had excellent pigmentation that covered my lips evenly in a single layer. The consistency was lightly creamy with some slip but didn’t slide around too readily when worn. There was a smidgen of product that settled into my deeper lip lines initially but did not seem to get progressively worse over time. The color stayed on well for four hours and was moisturizing while worn.

Formula Overview
$36.00/0.07 oz. - $514.29 Per Ounce
The Ultra-Rich Lip Color formula is supposed to have "full-coverage" and "high-shine" that "moisturizers lips instantly." The majority of the range had semi-opaque coverage with a few being sheerer and some with more full coverage. The finish was more luminous--shiny but not glossy or heavy--which meant they had moderate slip, so they tended to wear around four hours on me. There were some of the deeper shades (like reds) that lasted longer and left subtle stains behind. I found the formula to be lightly to moderately hydrating over time. They are vanilla scented but have no discernible taste.

Cindy
Tom Ford Beauty Cindy Boys & Girls Ultra-Rich Lip Color ($36.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a bright, light lavender with warm, pink undertones and a cream finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that had a lightly creamy, smooth consistency that glided across my lips without dragging. It had a fair amount of slip, and I found it difficult to prevent slight streaking along the edges, and there was a bit of product in my deeper lip lines that did get worse as it wore. It wore well for three and a half hours but was hydrating over time.

Gal is gorgeous shade of light pink! I’ve got to try this one on for size to see if I can wear it, but I’m pretty sure I’ll need to line my outer lips because of how light this will probably run on me.
Gal is a beautiful pinky shade, but Cindy reminds me of those pink lipsticks from the 60’s that really didn’t work well for most.
Both shades are lovely. I especially like Cindy, with its hint of lavender to the pink.
