The formula is supposed to be a “natural-looking blush” that blends to create “even” color. First, the shimmer is an overspray; it doesn’t seem to go all the way through, and a few back-and-forth sweeps with a large blush brush makes it disappear (which is what I do prior to swatching a product with an overspray), which leaves behind a mostly matte finish. Second, I purchased all four shades, and every single pan was extremely wobbly in the compact–at this price point and knowing it’s made by Estee Lauder Companies (which has plenty of manufacturing experience!), I was pretty disappointed. This shade, like Coy Coral ran powdery and appeared drier/dusty on the skin. It blended out a little more easily compared to yesterday’s shade, which made it easier to use. It had semi-sheer to semi-opaque coverage (which seems to be as intended) that lasted for seven hours before fading.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Wow, this is really sad. On the swatch, I can see where it clings to every line and dry spot, then throw in a wobbly pan and $28 price tag, this is embarrassing

Ugh, if only this particular one had done well, at least a B! I would’ve definitely bought it, because PURR Pink??? Purrfect for this Cat Woman! MROW! ?
Yes, I know….?

Oh no 🙁 It does look pretty swatched, though. A lot of folks seem kinda disappointed in these so far. I got one of the barest lip colors and I’m enjoying it so far! Won’t get the blushes though 😉

I think they could be better, even more so because it is still by Estee Lauder – there is no excuse not to be able to put out pans that are glued in right!

Oh dear, everything in the Estee Edit line seems to be a bit of a dud 🙁 I recently tried out their eyeshadow palette and it seemed more on the cheap drugstore end rather than something under the Estee Lauder name!

What is with these high end companies such as EL, TF, Dior and Guerlain when they try to pass off cheaply made products with a high price point? Used to be they were proud to have high quality items and reasonably charged more for them but now it seems as though they want all the money yet try to make certain items as cheaply as possible. It’s insulting to the customers to be asked to pay a high price yet they try to just get by on their name and reputation. This is not right and we all can thank Christine for alerting us to this shoddy business practice.

It’s just really bizarre when things like pans aren’t glued in properly for a brand that should know how to do that!
