Arctic Lime
Terra Moons Arctic Lime Matte Eyeshadow ($6.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a bright, ultra-light chartreuse green with strong, warm yellow undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation with a soft, moderately powdery texture that yielded some fallout during application.
I would recommend applying this over an eyeshadow primer as it was a little more sensitive to reacting to any natural oils on my lid. The color stayed on well for eight hours and left a bit of a stain behind.

I found that some matte shades were more noticeably powdery than others, but whether there was just a little bit of powderiness or more noticeable powderiness really depended on a shade. The neon shades were the most powdery and hardest to work with on their own; some had more specific tips/guidance on how to work with them, which I felt was great for disclosure, but it could get hard to remember what shade needs to be applied in such and such fashion since it really did vary a lot shade by shade.

Terra Moons Just a Phase Neon Matte Pressed Pigment ($6.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a brighter, aqua with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish. It had medium pigmentation, which was hard to build up as the texture was drier and more powdery with a thinness that just didn’t sit as flatteringly on my skin.
It was somewhat improved over an eyeshadow primer, but it wasn’t as impressive as other matte shades by the brand. This shade lasted well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Terra Moons 4th Dimension Neon Matte Pressed Pigment ($6.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a bright, mint green with a matte finish. It was fairly powdery, which resulted in sheerer coverage, fallout, and less-even application of color.
The pigmentation was more medium without blending, but even with primer, it was hard to get to full coverage that was really seamlessly blended out. There were signs of fading present after eight hours of wear.

Terra Moons Lunar or Later Matte Eyeshadow ($6.00 for 0.05 oz.) is an ultra-light blue with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was soft, somewhat powdery, but it was more substantial than some of the neon shades, so it was actually not as prone to fallout or sheering out as it could have been. It had mostly opaque pigmentation that could be built up to full coverage. It stayed on decently for seven and a half hours before fading noticeably.

neon pigments are always so hard to work with imo. they need a tacky white base to look even passable. bummer!
I think that it’s safe to say that all of these need an eyeshadow primer to work well and there are a couple of shades that are well below average. These kind of matte colours are really tricky to do well.
There are some beautiful shades here like Lunar or Later.
Even though quite a few of these aren’t that great, I’m in love with Arctic Lime! I could have some serious fun with that one 😊
