Wow, those eyes!!!! You’ve done it again! Truly I’d consider this palette just for the look! Stunning!
Holy Moly! These shades look great – fabulous colours and decent swatches. I like this one.
Tarte finally jumped on the pigmented, colorful, non-boring train! And they pulled no punches doing so, either. Very exciting!
I’m thinking my original assessment of this palette was right on (with one amendment) — I thought every row in and of itself makes a perfectly sensible quint of colors for a look, with the last row being a challenge; I was wrong: every row makes sense and the last row is reminiscent of a lot of palettes in the last year and is just as pleasing and no more a challenge than the other rows.
It’s actually a really nice palette.
I like this much more when all I can see is the actual shadows alone. The rest of the palette is too distracting for my ADD. I donāt think Iād ever use it for that reason. However I do want to attempt to recreate that purple and green look. That look is ? ? ?
I agree, the palette packaging is too busy.
Hey quick question. Do you know if this will be available to purchase at Ulta or Sephora or is it only going to be available on their website? Thanks so much!! I need to get my hands on this, I miss the launch and want to make sure I have to pay full price, I have Ulta rewards lol!!
On their Instagram, they said to stay tuned I think – definitely alluded to it coming elsewhere but no concrete info yet!
This and the Lorac (don’t bother, even Lorac fans) seem to be a throwback to the days of Vice palettes, in their seeming randomness, rather than obviously cohesive color stories. Alecto is right, tough, the rows are the plan. This Tarte is not clearcut, and may challenge some people, but THANK GOD TARTE DID IT. I was beginning to nod off at the mere mention of a Tarte palette. Anyone who follows make up will sit up and take notice. (Yes, my inner voice is saying, it’s about time…..)
In another throwback to Vice, the rows are the looks, but the columns make sense too!
That was the thing I admired most about the original vice palette, not enough to buy it, but definitely admired.
Looks pretty good surprisingly, lol. Love both of the looks you did using this palette!
These swatches look really good! Yay for Tarte.
I love tarte is getting into color and I know the rows are lined up to be quads plus the metallic pop; but Iād have a hard time using these colors together. Monochromatic looks are my comfort zone!
I truly love your swatches, stunning, thank you!
Blimey! I thought this was Urban Decay at first! š
Right?!? I sincerely hope this sells well for the sake of Tarte’s future decisions. Nothing wrong with good, solid, neutral-ish palettes as there will always be people who prefer those, but it’s nice to think they might be able to occasionally step out of the box and shine.
Absolutely! š
Such a pretty palette.
