How does a new brand get on your radar?

If readers talk up a brand that’s new (or new to me), that’s a huge way to get my attention, especially when I see it randomly mentioned as a favorite. Otherwise, good campaign visuals, diverse product ranges, and a strong direction in branding.

Are there any major gaps that a brand has yet to fill?

I think the industry could use more mid-end brands in general, particularly a brand that’s more color-focused and another that is more environmentally friendly with more ethereal and sheerer textures/finishes but in formulas and ranges that work on a diverse range of skin tones.
