Is there anyone you wish would start their own brand?

There’s no one that sticks out in my mind! I’m always impressed by the number of new entrants in the industry, but as long as they’re done well, I’m happy to see it.

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I’d love to see a makeup line from Mary Greenwell. Her approach to makeup really resonates with me and I think she’d produce really sublime basics.

I can’t think of anyone either, although when I consider who has the skin and overall makeup aesthetic I most admire it would be the Jennifer’s of my age; Jen Anniston or JLo.
The latter is more likely based on the fact that she’s already producing a skin care line. 🙂
Two other actresses I admire when I see them on TV are Aisha Hinds (seriously what gloriousness is on her lips all the time on 911?!) and Katherine Renee Turner.
Both stunning; I’m pretty sure I’d buy any magic they could package and sell.

At first I was going to say you, but nope, you would not have time anymore to review all the products for us, which is greatly appreciated! I imagine developing the palette triptych with SG has been taking a lot of your time recently!

No – definitely not! We don’t need any more brands and collabs and celebrities starting a new makeup line – there is plenty of indie brands, mainstream brands etc to go around.
What would be great is if more of the brands were accessible to all parts of the world that wanted them – I would like to be able to access CT, Lorac, CP, SG etc to see their products for myself.

The only person I that I think is worthy of starting a brand is you Christine – but now with your collaboration with SG – that is is a collab made in heaven!

Tarababyz definitely deserves her own makeup brand. She knows products like no other. Would love to see her YouTube channel grow, she definitely deserves it.

I think there are already so many brands out there. I am kind of excited that Hindash started make up, and his eye shadow product is more unique and innovative. If someone else starts a new brand, I am hoping it is atleast innovative.

Anyone who takes the beauty industry into the next century. Holographic makeup (not faux holographic, but actual). Virtual makeovers, real skin care that tightens and lifts, and the like. And all of this without negative effects either physical, social or mental. LOL! Basically, if you can’t bring on unique, truly innovative ideas (an example of the direction I’m talking is : smart makeup mirrors for testing). Another idea, taking favorite artwork and with an app making a palette that you then put into a 3D palette making machine, similar to 3D printers, so as to make your own personalized palettes (sort fo like the make you own perfume and lipstick trends of a few years back.)
