Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Lol! Christine you are hysterical 😂

I look at the new section sometimes, but I have been really waiting for trusted reviews before I purchase anything. It’s been really hard not to swatch/look at things for real….and sending things back all the time seems very wasteful.

I pay a lot of attention to new products but unless I dislike what I am currently using, I don’t try them until I have run out. For example, I am happy with my powder blushes so I am not buying new cream formulas in shades I already have. With respect to skin care, though, I will buy something new immediately if it seems innovative.

I like to see what’s new and anything that catches my eye as being interesting – how it fares in reviews…but I don’t look for new things to add to my collection anymore.

I still watch a few of my favorite beauty influencers, but it’s honestly more for entertainment and less for seeing if I want to buy product! Since the pandemic started and I’ve begun working from home, I just don’t wear much makeup anymore because I don’t go anywhere.

I still do…a little bit? I am always curious to see what’s coming next on the horizon. But I’m not buying all the new-new like I was even a few years ago. My stash is well sated, perhaps oversaturated. That said, I’m still interested and I do stay tuned.

Not for purchasing purposes. I like to see what new products and colors schemes are launched, for the fun of it and the aesthetics. But for my own collection I just keep repurchasing old favorites. The only new things that mildly get my interest are new colors available in the MAC pan refills for my custom made palette, both eyeshadows and blushes; especially since MAC is famous for discontinuing some of my favorite shades.

I do regularly seek out new products, whether it be a a lipstick in a shade I like or an eyeshadow palette that has caught my eye. All of the ‘new’ products need to be reviewed here first though.
I do check out Sephora Australia’s website to see if their lipstories range has been updated to include Autumn Blaze and Auburn lipsticks – but no.

I pay attention to new stuff because I’m always trying to refine or improve my collection, and the technology does change. However, I do have categories where I’m not looking for things anymore. My hooded eyes mean that I’m full up on powder eyeshadow and don’t have any interest in more of that category. Older skin means I’m looking at more cream eyeshadows/blushes now, and so on. I have shifting attention for new things at any given moment because of what I see as holes in my stash.

I don’t seek per se, but if something keeps coming up and the reviews are stellar then my attention is peaked and I will consider purchasing. I love what I own and I want to use what I have before acquiring more “stuff”. I’m cleaning my house up and I’m very aware of how many “things” I have and my donation “room” is getting full, so I am not going to purchase something unless I really know that I am going to use it. Makeup is a weakness of mine and I love beautiful products and there is nothing wrong about enjoying life with beautiful things but you don’t need “all” of the beautiful things.

In a passive way. I’m trying to discover more indie brands and so much of them are passed by word of mouth so I keep an eye out for what people mention here and elsewhere and when something catches my attention I go looking. That sometimes leads me to a deep dive a rabbit hole but that’s part of the fun.

I can’t say I seek them out, I find almost all newness here. I do subscribe to a few newsletters from brands and some stores and that’s all.

I love looking at them but at this point there’s nothing that I truly NEED. It’s really just eyeliners and single eyeshadows that are something I would actually buy, not just add to my one pinterest board lol.

I always look to see or go right to social media. You tube , Instagram. I have a blush weakness ha ha. I’m not the “I buy it all just to buy” I have to shop smart, but window surfing (ha ha) is fun. I love to keep updated for sure. I love your page and website. I have followed for a long long time. Any thing I want. You are my go to
