Swatches: Too Faced It Just Comes Naturally Palettes
Too Faced Natural Face Palette ($44.00 for 0.84 oz.) is a new, permanent cheek palette that features two highlighters, two blushes, and two bronzers. This is one of three new palettes (the rest are swatched below as well) for spring that all join the brand’s permanent offerings.
Too Faced Natural Face Palette
Too Faced Natural Eyes Eyeshadow Palette ($38.00 for 0.45 oz.) is a new, permanent nine-pan eyeshadow palette (and it does replace the previously-released Natural Eyes palette). It is an update of the Natural Eyes palette with a huge packaging upgrade (very sleek and functional, though the rounded lid makes it a bit thicker than necessary), formula change, and some shade tweaks.

Too Faced Natural Matte Eyeshadow Palette ($38.00 for 0.45 oz.) is a new, permanent nine-pan eyeshadow palette (and it does replace the previously-released Natural Matte palette). It is an update that includes updated packaging (big upgrade, in my opinion!) along with a change of formula and a huge adjustment in shades–they only kept two of the original nine shades.
Was hoping the blush palette would have two blushes that would suit my complexion. The pink is pretty but the rest just looks like tan shades. Neither of the eye shadow palettes interest me. One can only have so many tan-cream colors before it gets boring. A collection I can skip.
I’m pretty sure this is the first time EVER that I’ve been intrigued by Too Faced. Interested to see the grades come back!
This could be a first; I may actually buy that face palette! It has something about it that says “useful for everyday”.
The actual outer packaging looks far better than their corresponding original permanent line did, too!
(Hopefully, there’s no Sodium Saccharin in any of these. I couldn’t really see to read the ingredients list, but I am trying to stay optimistic!)
I see Sodium saccharin in every one.
Does Too Faced think about brown people when they create these blush palettes?
That’s not a bad question.
Apparently not!! It’s ridiculous that this is still acceptable. Not buying any of this until brands give options for all skintones…how hard is it to make different palette options for different skin tones? They come out with neutral palettes every day it seems like…
Does any brand consider any skin colors when making blush palettes, though? I can’t think of any that seem like one person could use all of the shades and have it be flattering.
@Logan NARS always makes 2 blush palettes, one for people with a fairer/lighter skin tone and one for people with a deeper skin tone. Juvia’s Place made two for the same reason. Natasha Denona always makes 2 blush palettes as well.
Shock and awe – I really like this collection! And, even more amazing, I think it is good. Apart from that really bright pink shade, I like the blushes and could use them.
Everything I like about the eyeshadows – no bright oranges or pinks and the mattes look reasonable.
However, we will see what the rating say.
I am hoping that the two eye shadow palettes review well. I have the original iterations and have hit pan on several of the shades so if these review well I will pick up both to replace my current palettes. The original Natural Eye palette has been a work horse for me for many, many years. Yes, they are natural eye looks but for everyday that is my go to. I usually only do colorful looks when I want to “play” with my makeup or have a special occasion. Here is hoping they review well although I see a few poor swatches I don’t know, LOL.
Are the shades in the eyeshadow palettes the same as in the old palettes? Can you do a comparison of them please?
I think you put the exact names of the palettes in the ‘compare any two’ boxes, but I confess to not having used the feature. Split infinitive, oh, well. There is def a way to compare any two palettes.
Palette vs. Palette is on The Dupe List!
Well this may be me ready to dip my toe into too- faced… been able to resist to this point! These look lovely, and exactly my sort of ‘workhorse’ shades. I am not massively interested in the cheek palette apart from ‘Satin Sheets’, that looks absolutely freaking beautiful. I may pick it up for that alone!
The last thing I need is another cheek palette, but Satin Sheets is sooo pretty! It reminds me a lot of the top shade from Tom Ford’s Paradise Lust palette. Tropic Like it’s Hot is really pretty, too. I’ll be watching for a good grade on this one!
Thanks for the swatches!! I originally wanted the natural matte eye palette but I just bought ABH Soft Glam and many of the shades are similar so I guess I will have to pass…if not for the ABH I would have been tempted!! The lipsticks look very smooth, I might pick one up!
Wow, these could be real workhorse palettes! The matte one looks weak, but will probably be better over primer, and the other 2 look like winners. Especially liking that Natural Eyes palette
I haven’t been able to decide whether I wanted Natural or Natural Matte. Looking at them here, I think I’ll pass on the Matte. The Natural looks more interesting 🙂 Thanks for the swatches!
I do like these palettes. I have the old neutral or natural matter eye palette and agree these colors we much much better.
These look very nice!
The cheek palette looks really pretty, and I could see myself getting use out of every shade (except maaaybe not Sunny Honey, but it could work as a subtle blush). That being said, I’m not really into cheek palettes and I’d rather have singles.
Looking forward to seeing the dupes for Satin Sheets, because that is one pretty highlighter
I love these!
I knew the moment these came out I was in trouble.
I need another eye palette like I need another pink-nude lippie.
Even though I have the Natural Eyes Love Palette (I use a lot in spring and summer) and see there are many repeats, I’m still seduced by specific colours and the new packaging they’ve moved to.
Plus the Natural Love colours are quite tiny in comparison.
I went into Sephora yesterday just to check it out, I’ve no doubt I would have come home with one of them, but they only had the old/original version in tin.
Having just purchased the Benefit Blush Bar the cheek palette might be easier for me to pass on, especially as I suspect I’ll only use Satin Sheets and pink wink; I’ll hold off and see what your dupes are for those two.
FWIW: Satin Sheets was an eyeshadow from the Boudoir palette, so I think they just repromoted it and enlarged the pan size…the color looks almost identical based on the pan and swatches.
Christine – is Satin Sheets the same shade as the Satin Sheets in the Chocolate Bon Bons eyeshadow palette? :O They look really similar (and of course, the name!) Maybe I can use my eyeshadow as a highlight and save some $$ haha
Definitely. See my post above.
Loving the look of the face palette, looking forward to the review!
I think I might get the natural eyes palette, I originally thought the matte one would be the one, but, the swatches were just eh…
I am loving the highlighters and blushes in the face palette, but I’m not impressed with the bronzers!
