The Artistique Blush formula is supposed to have a “naturally glowing finish.” The formula is consistent: the blushes have a very soft, almost cream-like powder texture that blends out effortlessly to a luminous sheen with semi-opaque to opaque coverage (that is easily applied more sheerly or layered for true-to-pan color) and good wear (eight to nine hours). Flamme was the most intense shade of the new six hues released this year. It had good color payoff with a cream-like, silky-smooth consistency that blended out easily and made it one of the more forgiving deep orange shades I’ve tried. This shade wore well for almost nine hours before fading slightly.
A note on packaging: Surratt’s range comes in lightweight plastic pans, which aren’t ideal for long-term use (particularly if traveling or putting in a makeup bag), as his products are designed to be put into custom palette solutions. Personally, I put magnets on the back of each and keep them in freestyle palettes (like a Z-Palette) as it is more economical.

OMG, sooooo pretty!! Love the luminous finish and yellow gold shimmer.
The finish is superb!
This is pretty! I love orange blush in summer because most people won’t do it, lol! I have Tigerlily and Taj Mahal though. But , this is smack in the middle of those two. Not a must – have. But, I want it for sure. ?
lol! I love orange blush, too 😀 I tend to favor yellower orange blushes!
This seems more opaque than the others. I’d love to see it on dark warm skin, I think it’s made for that!
I bet it would be pretty on a darker skin tone!
Ohhh! what a unique color. It’s so orange-y.
I love how it is orange but not too red!
The swatch frightened me because it seems so orange, but it looks stunning on you!
Thank you, Jenn!
Passing on this even though it’s really a gorgeous shade. On me, I fear that this would give me a jaundiced, sickly look. I believe my skin would pull the yellowish aspects of this, not the reddish ones.
I could definitely see it pulling yellow on some skin tones!
Very pretty! I think MUFE Tangerine is probably close enough for me. I don’t wear orange blush a whole lot.
Perfect 🙂
This blush is such a stunner I personally like orange blushes with gold shimmers they look very pretty and radiant on tanned skin. 🙂
Me too! Orange blush is underrated!
It’s an interesting colour. I think I’d look sick if I tried it. I’d like it as an eyeshadow, but then I probably have something close enough to it.
I bet you have an eyeshadow similar to it 😉
This is sooo pretty!!! I love orange blushes!!!
Me too! 🙂 Not enough of them!
