Sneak Peek: Pat McGrath Decadence Collection Photos & Swatches
For spring, there are 11 new shades of Pat McGrath MatteTrance Lipsticks ($38.00 for 0.14 oz.) and a new, limited edition Pat McGrath Eyeshadow Palette ($125.00 for 0.70 oz.). Oddly enough, Sephora only had 10 of the 11 lipsticks, so I’m still waiting on the 11th shadde, which I ordered directly from Pat McGrath.

I bought Vendetta, Venus in Furs and Full-Blooded. I’ve only worn Full-Blooded so far, but I do love the color and formula!
Those were the three I wanted but made myself pick just one, Vendetta. I’m loving it, and will be getting the other two!

It looks good, but SO EXPENSIVE!!! Its hard to justify when there are so many great high quality affordable brands out there.

Peep Show,Modern Woman, and Venus in Furs are calling my name!! So beautiful. I bought the Mothership 4 Decadence palette the morning it launched on Sephora.It is beautiful product wise and the packaging so regal? I haven’t used the shadows yet but I’m excited to create a look with some of these shades especially Lapis Luxury! The swatch on that color is so richly pigmented. If anyone wants to see an excellent video on a comparison of foiled eyeshadows check out Jen Luvs Reviews on YouTube she has a video where she does eye swatches of a lot of foiled shadows and gives the audience a chance to guess which brand the product on her eyes (one eye swatched with a brush one eye swatched with a finger) is. It is extremely interesting. You can see how intensely shiny and dimensional the Pat McGrath shade was compared to others. She used Bronze 005 from Mothership 2 Sublime.
That was a great video the tarte foiled finger shadow came out great as well
I have the eye shadow palette and it’s even more beautiful in person. I have yet to use it and I thought I’d need to pull in another palette for a matte shade, but the look you created proves that this palette works on its own.
Loving that eyeshadow palette though I wish they’d used a brow highlight colour (a slightly shimmery light beige sort of shade) instead of that silver shadow. Some of the lipsticks look much nicer than I was expecting too.
I’m in trouble here. That palette is breathtaking! As are the lipsticks. Personal picks; Faux Pas (but I have UD Cruz?), Femmebot, Vendetta and Venus In Furs. Polaroid Pink looks like a fun shade, too! See what I mean? That’s 5 lipsticks I’m eyeballing! ?

In the palette Lapis Luxury is absolutely stunning, and Divine Mink looks like a complex silvery purpley taupe in the swatch . Overall a very pretty palette. I also like Modern Woman.
Pretty palette but I feel like I can get close enough to most of them with my UD After dark palette. Not that I would ever seriously consider spending that kind of money on eyeshadow. Maybe if I had more than two eyes.

I have no lipstick of her yet because I cannot decide which one to buy and Now with the new colours it is Even more difficult to decide.
Underworld, Lapis Luxury and Divine Mink are gorgeous! I think I added it to my Loves list at Sephora but I don’t think I can justify $125 for 3 colors. I’ll be looking for the dupe list and I almost certainly have a few in my massive collection. I like the look you created with this palette, Christine! I would need to pull in a matte highlight shade from another palette. Getting old sucks in that you can’t wear metallic eyeshadow where you have wrinkles. It accentuates them. Fortunately the only place I can’t use them is the upper lid, under the brow.
I have faux pas and I love it!! Super comfortable on the lips. Such a beautiful color but now I want soft core. So pretty!!! I don’t usually wear shadow but I love this palette just wish it was so expensive!!!!
Soft core and colourpop’s new lux collection in still pretty I feel may be dupes!!!!! I cannot wait to see if they are!!!!
I brought the palette and Candy Flip lipstick. Should be delivered tomorrow. Love the eye look, will be sure to try and copy it! Lol I should have brought Venus in Fur for the full look you did Christine
I caved and bought this palette. It’s the most gorgeous, luxurious makeup item I own. The shades are incredibly beautiful and the packaging is stunning. Photos don’t do it justice.
I love the eyeshadow palette, the lapis blue is breathtaking.

To be honest i would love to someday rock a color like Faux Pas.
Still trying to decide if I want this palette or if I should wait and see what she does for summer. I live where it’s pretty much summer all of the time and I’m not sure if these will work year round… The packaging is my favorite so far though. Now I have to decide which lipsticks I want! I have it down to 6 ? Candy Flip looks gorgeous on you Christine!
Your eye look is stunning Christine! Everyrhing on here looks so pretty but even the lipsticks are 50$ CD and I can’t bring myself to spend that much on a lipstick. I go back to work from mat leave soon so maybe then!

Gorgeous. I have not been able to bring myself to ever bite the bullet on either Natasha D shadows or this. But like Natosha D, I hope that she will make smaller pallettes that are more within reach, like the 5 shadow sets. Meanwhile, her lipstick formula has really turned to be my favorite. I love both formulas, and they are so pigmented. I am drooling over these new colors as well. I already have a couple of the others, but I can see that more are calling my name now. Hey Christine, another lipstick color was released in the collection – Divine Brown. It wasn’t picked up by Sephora. 🙁

I said that in the beginning of my post 🙂 It is possible that PMG decided to make that one shade a site-exclusive, as brands often do so. PMG did not allow me to purchase all 11 shades, and they do not have expedited shipping, so I personally preferred to purchase from Sephora.
Oh Thank you Christine. I know you are thorough. I think I was mad that Sephora wasn’t carrying all the shades and ran right over to let you know without fully researching what you had done already.
