Having spent hours on your Audacious posts, have already made judicious choices on these and can forego. Bette and Charlotte look a tad better than the originals, but the whole bunch looks a bit….creamier, more slippy? I am NOT suggesting that you review these; you have enough to do. But the glides are on my avenue, and new, so none yet. All except the pink are deep, boldish, and just a bit different than his usual (read beloved to me) reds. And not a heavy investment. Great!

There’s a period of time in my swatches that look lighter/brighter to me (based on my current monitor/equipment, room, lighting, etc. which, of course, one always feels is THE BEST POSSIBLE at that moment), which included the Audacious lipsticks, so I do feel that these photos, today, are more accurate overall. (My guess is they are photos from when I tried to color calibrate my monitor based on ambient lighting, which is great for printing accurate color but is completely off on standard devices – I changed my color calibration technique to “try to get everything to look ‘within range’ across devices”). I also believe that my new camera is better at processing reds without over-amplifying them (it seems to read skin color a bit better).

Love Sandra, and IIRC, it was a NARS.com exclusive, not at Sephora. Sandra leans more brown on me than most NARS brown reds. This set is fab, unless you already scored many of them

I love the idea of a NARS Audacious set (and minis! I can get through minis!). But I think the range is a bit too close in colour for me to go for it. Would have loved a few of the classic Audacious nudes thrown in there. Still a beautiful set!

I adore the Audacious line, and was positive I’d buy this set.
Then I saw the colors.

Way too many reds, and red is my least worn lip color.

I love Mini’s sooo much but this has too many reds for me. Had they gone darker ya know like from light to a nice rich dark berry or a burnt red…these all look so similar.

Beautiful sets, but skip for me. Bette is gorgeous, but I have way too many red lipsticks already, and the 2 other colors will look terrible on me. And I have way too many glosses, but have Bound on my wishlist. Love these miniature sizes –if I had to start my collection again, I would buy more mini sets for the variety, instead of full sizes, as it takes forever to finish a full size.

I will definitely be getting the Lip Glides. I bought one of the full sized ones when they came out and fortunately, it’s not in this set. I really like them. I love the lipsticks as well, but there’s not enough variety for me.

Oh my word, I love that Lip Glide set! Each and EVERY one of these would be very wearable, and much worn by me should I decide to buy it!
As for the Audacious lipstick set; having very recently gone on a red lipstick binge of sorts, I definitely am not interested in this. I have a veritable storehouse of reds at this point that I now need to use up!

Francois must have thought I needed backups, bec I’ve got 6 of the audacious shades. The cooler darks look better to me now. So maybe will reswatch Bette and charlotte. Anita is a bit too pink FMT. Always glad not to spend more than a Ben. Will do the glides, if the formula is right for aging lips

I don’t usually love mini lipsticks ( I tend to break them), but I love each of these colors! A warm red, or a brownish red, is my go-to. And those lighter shades are pretty too.

The lip glide set has the two of the main collection shades I want, (bound, unspeakable) and the rest seem sort of plummy so I’m down with all of them for once, (that never happens!) but I’m surprised that so many of them look *very* similar to one another! maybe in person they have small differences that I’m not seeing on my device?

Pretty colors that appear moist however my mouth feels like a desert when I read, hear NARS after all this time. I will have to try some samples before investing.

Any time I see the names “Sandra” and “Rita” in close proximity, my brain starts playing Mambo No. 5. Curse you, Lou Bega.

Anyhoo…the lip glide set looks like it could be a nice way to try out some of the shades; it’s a nice mix of softer colors and vampy colors.
