MAC x Philip Treacy Collection is the third launch slated for March 26th online and will be in select stores on April 2nd (get full information here. I’m working my way through testing everything, but here are some swatches in the meanwhile! I would greatly appreciate it if you held any questions until I’ve had a chance to process, test, and write-up the collection. Thank you! 🙂

P.S. — I’ve previously reviewed Chrome Angel/Genuine Treasure Paint Pots (seen in the group shot), so I didn’t reshoot/reswatch those.

Wow, the swatches for Cardinal and Maria Moretti look really really similar (and pretty). Curious to see what you think of them, and if they’re dupes for each other!

I’m interested in the Hollywood Cerise lipstick. The others are too dupable. The second highlighter just looks kinda powdery to me in the swatch. I like the packaging of those. But, I don’t have a great gut feeling on them. One never knows though. I nave no Mac fluidlines. I typically go with Inglot or Bobbi Brown. I would be interested in seeing how these do. But, I am not going to be able to clear my schedule that day. So, if the counters are not carrying this or the other releases, I probably won’t bother. I’d probably be better off adding a Rouge G or filling in my highlighter or Armani eye tints wants anyhow.:)

ok, great! :)I just called my local mac counter and this collection and the Mac is Beauty collection will be at their counter. So, I will be able to pre-orer whatever I find I want.Proably was for the best with the Petite collection. i have been buying way too much makeup! I really loved that blush though! Oh well. I’m sure something will pop up that is similar or better!:)

The collection is a bust for me. The lips I own. The highlighters are very chalky looking and too matte/pink. I want to love them for the cute imprint on the powder, but definitely skipping.

I really hope that you’ll be doing a swatch of Genuine Treasure, Christine! I’d love to see how similar/different it is compared to last time. I had trouble with the texture before.

I am so happy to see such a talented Irishman like Philip Treacy working with a brand like MAC – I would have just loved some edgy limited edition packaging!
I missed out on No Faux Pas at Christmas so miiiiight pick it up but Hollywood Cerise will be coming home with me. I had high hopes for the powders from promo images but I’m a little underwhelmed – not shiny enough personally for a highlight and I don’t even think my hella casper cheeks could use them as a nice blush.. I’ll be waiting until your review! 🙂

3/26 is going to be the ultimate d-day or should i say m-day Lol. So many gorgeous products how do i begin to prioritize which to get. Your reviews will definitely help narrow down the list. you have a lot on your plate at least you have a week to do all the testing. thanks in advance

Relaunches!! I already own No Faux Pas when it was launched with the Heirloom collection and I’m sure Cardinal is close to one of the many reds i’ve purchased from MAC; Powders are too light for me… I would love to add Hollywood Cerise to my lipstick arsenal, but MAC has managed to disappoint me lately with these collection releases. Not only with the products, but their availability as well. I”m still a fan, but my hope is waning. Good luck to those ladies who do hope to purchase though!! 🙂

Hmm the highlight powder don’t look like highlighters… to bad. I think i’m going to order the best out of 2 and order the best Beauty Powder from the MAC is beauty collection..

MAC is killin’ me with all these new collections! Space ’em out, MAC or I’m gonna be the most overly made up woman living in a box ever! The Nude Pink High-Light Powder is calling my name but it might be too light for my NC30 skin. That might be my saving grace.

Jet Avatar

I think both this & the Mia Moretti are def going to be misses for me. Feels like the colours I really like I already have such similar ones & really need to stop buying the same colours over & over (she says with optimism that probably will last until the second I walk into a MAC store!)

The thing that really gets on my… Okay I’ll keep it clean

Jet Avatar

OMG I just checked & already some of the Mia Moretti collection is up on eBay & it doesn’t realease for another 7 days! At least it’s not at insane prices… Until it sells out of course!

Lizzi Avatar

I’m very interested in Royal Wink because it looks similar to the cream eyeshadow in Kat Von D’s Momento Mori palette. These was back when she did the rubberized packaging and is long dried up. I’ve never used a fluidline for eyeshadow, are they any good when used like that? I hope so! My search will be over.

Hollywood Cerise is the only thing I could be interested in, and even that doesn’t looks really unique. I’m indifferent about MAC collections lately. I don’t see anything impressive since last summer.

El Avatar

Huh, the two pink lipsticks look a lot more similar on the lip. I still like Hollywood Cerise. The highlighter powders look very pretty swatched, and I love the actual design on the powder, with the silver lines carved through it.

Nice, but nothing must-have.
