Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipsticks (Spring 2017)

While perusing new products last week, I noticed that there were new shades of Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipstick–at least 18 that I could find! There are also new Hi-Lustres, which I don’t have right now but hope to eventually have at some point.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Nice! This is a good formula 🙂 I’m especially interested in Power Grab, Never Enough, and Prowl, but it would be really cool if Pinkberry or Inescapable would work on me, it would be something different!

Yay thank you for the swatches Christine! This is one of my favorite formulas and I have you to thank for introducing them to me! Looking forward to your reviews, but they sure do look pretty and like they perform well just from your sneak-peek! The colors look so shiny and saturated <3

My favorite is Bois de Rose, followed closely by Rose Tea, Nude Cult and Prowl. Very interested in seeing how they do! Out Of Control looks mighty fun for summer!

So excited that you swatched these, I love this formula! A lot of the colors are ones from EL’s older lipstick lines (as are some of the new Hi-Lustres), so I wonder if they are folding those into the newer Pure Color Envy line, with its superior formula and lack of scent (and higher prices).

I have a couple of these lipsticks, not the new colors, but have noticed that the lipstick bends or leans when I apply it, like it’s too soft. I suppose it would be better applied with a lip brush.

I don’t see a single dud! Prowl grabs my eye but some of the mauve nudes/mlbbs also look great. Really excited to hear your thoughts.

Estée Lauder, bringing back the old favorites! Or at least recycling the names – Pinkberry, Bois de Rose and Rose Tea are old names; I loved the old incarnation of Bois de Rose so I will most definitely look at this one. Naked Desire looks really pretty on your lips. Pale colors look dismal on me but I’ll try it on in an act of self-flagellation.

I need to check these out! I first bought the shade Dynamic after seeing you enjoying this formula and giving it high marks. Its become one of my favourites and I ended up buying more shades 😀

I’m excited about this release because the EL Pure Colour Envy lipsticks are amazing 🙂 Nude Cult and Bois de Rose will almost certainly find a home with me this spring….

Gah! The excitement is real. This line of lipsticks is my absolute favourite. I can hardly wait to read your review Christine 🙂

Oh very pretty swatches! I’m instantly drawn to the shade ‘never enough’, looks like such a nice formula I’m going to have to try it for sure!
