Estee Lauder Vain Vanilla is a moderately warm-toned, very light brown with a cream finish. It is a permanent lipstick that retails for $32.00 and contains 0.12 oz.
Estee Lauder Vain Vanilla Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a light-medium, peachy brown with strong, warm yellow undertones and a satin finish. It had good pigmentation, though it wasn't opaque in one stroke, that was buildable to opaque coverage. The texture had more slip in it than some shades in the range, so there was a touch of color that gathered in my deepest lip lines. It was comfortable and hydrating to wear while it also lasted for five and a half hours on me.
The Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick formula is supposed to have "high-intensity color" that hydrate lips with six-hour wear. It's one of my favorite formulas, as the majority of the shades are creamy, smooth, pigmented, hydrating, and long-wearing (four to seven hours). They are vanilla-scented but have no discernible taste.
