We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when
a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set
expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up
being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!
Well that’s a relief! This is probably one of the first palettes that I ordered without being able to see your review since I started following your blog, but CP has been doing amazing and with their price point, I figured at the very least I could pass it to my daughter for her to play with. The couple that I had hesitations about seemed to perform as well I would expect based on your swatches (I trust “real” blogger swatches much more than PR ones) and your look is amazing! Looking forward to it!

I love Kathleen Lights and youtube collabs with companies. But damn I’m sick of warm brown-y/orange-y palettes. Can we be done with them now, please?
Cailee
Agreed. This palette is doing nothing for me.

I agree. While I like Kathleen and Colourpop I just can’t do it. Too many colors don’t impress me or they seem similar and it’s going to have to be a pass. I mean there are only so many palettes I can buy for myself and give to other people and say give this to me for Christmas!
Poor you – MORE palettes!!!! Maybe it’s just the plethora of them that I’ve seen this year or maybe it’s just that I’ve got too many palettes, quads and single eyeshadows, but they’re all starting to look pretty much alike to me.
Love that at least this warm palette has teals and a pale khaki toned shade for something quite different from the current standard issue of just reds, oranges and gold! I may just go for it!
IMO, Twinkle and Star Dust are too close; could have completely done without one (I’m thinking Star Dust), and /or made it a medium to medium-dark shimmery plum in the same value range as Potion and Spark.
Speaking of and Potion and Spark, they read as reasonably dissimilar in the pans, but they swatch uncomfortably close — Potion swatches lighter, and Spark swatches darker, so in the end, they feel too similar (even though they’re clearly different colors).
Like the color hits in the palette the best, but then, the TRUE color hit… That orange lip appears more orange than any i’ve scored. Yow. Now that’s an attention getter.
Picked this up on launch day for my daughter along with the lippies. I think the lips may be a little too light for her, with the exception of that beautiful orange. She wears orange so beautifully, I think it will be perfect for her. For the price point I think this is a nice palette. I have watched a few of Kathleen’s videos and she seems very nice and sweet. I am happy to support her.

Honestly I’ve been following Colourpop for a while and I was kinda disappointed with this launch… although I love the teals the whole palette is a dupe fest. I could literally name all the Colourpop shades that are already in other palettes or by individual sale that are the same as the ones in this palette. The most annoying part is that they don’t sell the one color you want but keep putting them in multiple palettes.
I’m actually really excited to get this palette. I typically do wear nude/neutral tones with a little color on my lower lash line during the day, and then i go a little bit more extra if I go out at night. I think the blues and terracottas are much more interesting than all the warm oranges, reds, and pinks we’ve had since ABH Modern Renaissance. I love my CP Yes Please palette, but that’s all I need on that front.
I also picked up Rever, which is looks much more orange than I thought! I don’t have that many orange lipsticks, so I don’t feel too bad about buying another. (Not that I ever feel bad… 🙂 )

I trust the outcome of anything Kathleen x ColourPop .. so without much though I bought it and it will be my first CP pressed eyeshadow purchase for myself as well.
I held back A LOT .. so when this came out I caved in.
The swatches look nice but some Shimmer colors do look the same .. hmm.
Such lovely swatches! Waiting for my palette to ship.

I really can’t get down with Kathleen Lights after that whole N-word incident. Yes, she apologized, but the word slipped out way too easily for me to believe it isn’t a part of her everyday language. So I will not be supporting anything else from her. On the bright side (for me), I wouldn’t have purchased this just because once you cover up those two green shades it’s just another warm toned eyeshadow palette.

I was thinking the same thing Nancy.

Kaleidoscope is gorgeous. Sweet Dreams is tragic.
Nice for $16 and the lipsticks are pretty too!!

The colors are reminding me a bit of the MUFE “Blue Sepia” palette that I still regret not picking up.
This looks like a beautiful palette. Does any of the shadows are those sparkles that fall on your face? I hate that.
