The Colorful Blush formula is supposed to be long-wearing, buildable, and have a lightweight texture. My experience with the formula–generally–has shown that they’re soft, lightly powdery at times (some are worse than others) with semi-sheer to semi-opaque color coverage that blends fairly well and lasts seven to eight hours. There is some variance between shades, but there are some gems in the range. Shame On You had semi-sheer to semi-opaque, buildable coverage with a soft, lightly dusty texture that wasn’t too firm or too soft in the pan. The color blended our fairly well on the skin and had a soft matte finish that didn’t look powdery applied. On me, this blush lasted for seven and a half hours before fading.

Pretty! Definitely my kind of shade.
Yay!
Looks nice! 😀
Glad to hear it, Laarni! 🙂
I like it. Nice and subdued. But, I just hauled it up on blushes with my pre-sale for the MAC Flamingo collection. I’m keeping this in mind though. I like the pink-peach to it. But, I do have two of the dupes and my blush is already spilling over! So, no rush.
Correction- I read the dupes wrong! It’s BM Swoon! I have CP between the sheets as the only dupe. Hmm..
No rush on these! Permanent 😀
Old rose is a fitting description for this color. I like it a lot, along with the look you created with it. It’s pleasantly simple and fresh.
Thank you, Chris!
It’s nice to finally see a matte blush score higher than an F. If Sephora can do it, so can KVD !
Ha ha!
Wow this s a beautiful flush on you. Perfect for spring!
Thanks, Dani!
Very pretty! Cute name, too. But I probably need another peachy blush like another hole in the head.
lol! 😉
This makes a very nice, soft “basic” blush! I think we all need at least one or two more basic, everyday kinds of blush shades. I really like it for that, I suppose that’s why I’ve always wanted MAC Blushbaby or Melba.
Melba might be really great on your skin tone, Nancy!
I think it’s definitely worth a shot!
I got a sample of this from Sephora and liked it a lot, which is surprising since I tend to reach for blushes of the more satiny or slightly shimmery side
I think they managed to matte really well here – not too flat at all!
This is such a pretty shade. Sephora has really upped their game, especially with their blush formulas!
They have!
Wow, blushes that are dupes have really poor grades. I have a Sephora blush that I love. I think it’s called peony, poise or some p flower name. It may be discontinued as have had a bit of glow while the other half is matte. I have a dupe of it in a cream blush also from Sephora. I like that one also. The color is deeper but not dark compared to the reviewed blush.
Sephora has come a long way!
I’d be super into it if it wasn’t matte!
Aw!
It is actually a really lovely, understated kind of blush.
It’s a very neutral blush!
Very nice! It looks like what I hoped Sex Appeal would be.
Awesome!
This is my holy grail blush! Whenever I wear it, I receive so many compliments. A little goes a long way for me when I have a fair complexion. I barely tap the brush and I got a lot of product on it. I’m still glad it got a good score. :3
Happy to hear from someone else who has tried this shade! 😀
