Round-up: MAC Kelly Osbourne Collection Overview & Thoughts

MAC Kelly Osbourne Collection
MAC Kelly Osbourne Collection

Launches June 2nd online on MAC’s website, June 12th at stores and counters. It will also be available at:  Nordstrom, Macy’sBloomingdale’s, Dillard’s (no exact date or time given for online releases at other retailers).

The MAC x Kelly Osbourne Collection has a few products for eyes, lips, and cheeks, so everything is covered within the collection.  It was a so-so collection with a mix of decent to good products but some products are more dupable than others. Though I really liked the way Kelly Yum-Yum feels on the lips, it is also a color that has been done quite often.  Cheeky Bugger will be nice for fairer complexions.

BEST PERFORMING: Kelly Yum-Yum (A), Cheeky Bugger (A-), Strip Poker (A-)
MOST UNIQUE: Dodgy Girl (B+), Riot House (B)

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! So it came out a few days ago, and I went a bit mad!

Got KYY, Dodgy Girl and Riot House as I saw some fab swatches on pale/cool skin tones.

Then Cheeky Buggar also and I splurged on the Kelly Quad too, as I loved the eye look you did with it!

Now to wait for Lorde πŸ˜€

Of all the collection, I just want Cheeky Bugger… I like the Brow duo, but I have both of those colors in my collection already, so I’ll just start playing with them now.

I like Cheeky Bugger (the blush?) best! πŸ™‚ The lipstick shades are either unoriginal or unwearable for me (note: that’s just me! Would totally have approved of a darker true purple, though ;-)). I know I’m not a huge MAC supporter generally (:-P) but I do like it when they put out exciting, original, high quality stuff. This collection just seems a bit shrug-y! The packaging colour is pretty, though πŸ™‚

Is Dodgy Girl similar to Viva Glam Nicki 2? I didn’t see it in the list of comparisons but it reminds me of VVN2.Β IsΒ it just more blue while DG is on the pinkier side?

Went on Mac’s website to by as soon as the clock hit 12 on the second and nope….. Nothing. So did some research and turns out this line drops on the 5th of june online, and on the 12th (like stated here) of june in stores. I also read that it will drop online on the 3rd of June for Mac Pro members, which I hope is true since I am one. Kinda bummed but keeping my fingers crossed until tomorrow. I am a Mac fanatic by the way i love the collectors/limited edition items so, cant wait!!!

Oh my gosh I am so heartbroken I was on the website of three or 4 o’clock in the morning. Or so I thought, right! that’s so crazy and there was no sign of any Kelly Osbourne or Sharon Osbourne whatsoever nothing and I looked and looked this always happen to me always oh well I guess I’ll live , they still have quite a few products left but just no lipsticks the lipsticks always sell out first and I knew this I just don’t understand why it wasn’t on the site when I looked this morning. I think I was on there around 1 o’clock and I should’ve checked back dammit!
