Revlon Gold Goddess, Silver City Pink, Sky Line Pink Super Lustrous Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Gold Goddess
Revlon Gold Goddess Super Lustrous Lipstick ($8.49 for 0.15 oz.) is a medium, orange-gold base with light-medium, yellower gold shimmer throughout. It had semi-sheer coverage that built up to medium, but there was a sheerness to it so it added warmth to my natural lip color and noticeable shimmer but may look lighter and darker depending on one’s natural lip color.
The texture was smooth, more balm-like without the slip, and was thin but not clingy, though it didn’t apply as evenly as I would have wanted. It wore well for three hours and felt lightly hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$8.49/0.15 oz. - $56.60 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "lightweight color and moisturizing shine" with "buildable color payoff" and a "gliding, smooth application." It's a good formula for those who like medium, buildable coverage with a smooth, balmy consistency that glides across lips easily but doesn't feel too slippery while worn.
They're comfortable to wear with light hydration but tend to wear a shorter length of time--anywhere from two to four hours with a couple of shades reaching a little beyond four hours. What I like most about the formula is the finish: it's luminous and more smoothing, so it's kinder to lips with imperfection or prone to dryness/flaking. The formula has slip but doesn't have any heaviness or slickness that makes it prone to getting into lip lines.

Silver City Pink
Revlon Silver City Pink Super Lustrous Lipstick ($8.49 for 0.15 oz.) is a light pink with strong, warm undertones and a frosted finish. Applied, it appeared lighter, brighter, and a bit cooler-toned compared to the initial swatch. The texture was lightweight, thin, and felt a touch clingy, though I felt like it looked clingier than it actually felt.
The color applied fairly evenly but separated along my lip lines and emphasized any natural texture. It had medium coverage that built up to semi-opaque coverage (two layers). It lasted well for three hours and felt neither drying nor hydrating over time.

Silver City Pink
PPermanent. $8.49.
Sky Line Pink
Revlon Sky Line Pink Super Lustrous Lipstick ($8.49 for 0.15 oz.) is a soft, peachy beige with warm undertones and a frosted finish. It had medium coverage that applied evenly but separated a bit along my deeper lip lines, which was likely due to the slightly more emollient consistency (compared to others in the line). The lipstick felt smooth and glided over my lips with ease but had a bit of slip that made it harder to keep in place. This shade stayed on nicely for three hours and felt slightly moisturizing over time.

Sky Line Pink and Silver City Pink are giving me some seriously scary 80’s flashbacks! ?♀️
Gold Goddess is a bit ‘meh’ for me. Probably because I already have the Bite Gold lipgloss.
I’m weirdly liking the two frosty pinks, which I do not understand. Normally, I detest shades like that. I wonder if lip shades like that are going to trend for spring. I often find that happens when I get on a color kick. It’s probably some subliminal thing, but I’ve been craving barely-pink lipstick like those.
Nah – these seem like the Revlon lipsticks of old and not the best quality.
Silver City Pink was the second lipstick I ever owned. The first was a deep, deep fuschia-red that came in a mermaid tube that my aunt gave me, which my ultra old fashioned uncle promptly told her wasn’t appropriate for 8 year old me, so he bought me Silver City Pink ? I’ll never forget that encounter
They’ve been making Silver City Pink for decades – I’m glad that Revlon is among very few companies that doesn’t discontinue every shade every season like the others. Most often I use that and Sky Line Pink to layer.
The pinks are putting me in mind of leg warmers and sky-high mall rat bangs.
