Rare Beauty Nearly Mauve Stay Vulnerable Glossy Lip Balm ($18.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a muted, rosy plum with subtle, warm undertones and a jelly-like finish. It had moderate shine with translucency as it had sheerer coverage, as marketed, that allowed the natural lip color to come through.
The texture was lightweight, smooth, and like a balmy gel, so plush and cushiony without being tacky. It lasted well for two and a half hours and felt moisturizing while worn.

They are sheer in coverage, as described, and keep in mind that this results in color that can look different based on one's natural lip colors and does mean they tend to look more similar applied than differentiated, too.
The texture was smooth, balm-like, and plush--it felt more gel-like and cushiony on my lips, which made it comfortable to wear. They applied evenly, didn't emphasize my lip lines or natural lip texture, and felt hydrating over time. Unsurprisingly, they weren't a particularly long-wearing product and lasted between two and three hours at best.

It had moderate shine and sheer to semi-sheer color coverage, as marketed, so the translucency coupled with the lack of shimmer made it appear more jelly-like than cream-like in its finish.
The gloss had a smooth, non-sticky consistency that was lightweight but plush, which helped it soften lip lines. It wore well for two and a half hours and felt hydrating over time.

Rare Beauty Nearly Rose Stay Vulnerable Glossy Lip Balm ($18.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium pink with subtle, warmer undertones and a jelly-like finish. It had semi-sheer color payoff that applied evenly and spread readily across my lips without emphasizing my lip lines or lip texture.
The consistency felt smooth, non-sticky, and plush while still being a lightweight formula to wear. It stayed on nicely for two and a half hours and felt moisturizing while worn.
